It’s far more likely his 3pt % is going to regress. But even if it does it won’t change much in terms of how dominant he is still. |

I think the respect factor for Lebron goes up many times after this. He never cry babied his way off a team and he joined a BAD Lakers team with NO guarantee help was on the way. Meanwhile Kawhi demands a star to go with him to the Clippers who were already a playoff team and Harden demands out of Houston after they actually gave him a better team with Wood and Wall. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

I saw that, even Lebron likes it, "I'm 36, I'm not Thanos!"
Lebron doesn't back down from challenges, even if the deck is stacked against him. Although I don't think you cans say the deck is stacked yet in Brooklyn. Lets see how all three of them play together the next 30 days... _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

My feeling when the season started was that if LeBron puts up even comparable numbers to last year and the Lakers are a top two seed, he'd sleepwalk into a long overdue 5th MVP. After what happened with Giannis and Kawhi in the playoffs, voters would no longer feel like they can justify giving it to anyone else.
With his role adapted and his assists down below 8, I thought he might end up in the backseat again. But a few outlets are pegging him as the top candidate anyway.
I get the impression that if he cruises at this level and LA finishes with the top seed, he'll win it. The Nets becoming a three-piece helps him; it draws votes away from Durant. |

Jokic is a threat though if the Nuggets start winning more. Can't ignore a triple-double center for long. |

It’s Denver. National media and fans will still ignore him no matter how he plays. Most rely more on highlight reels instead of actually watching them play. |

This was a tough one for Lebron. The three crunch time turnovers were just... wow. |

He was out of it from the start, especially on defense - will happen at his age, this might have been one better served for load management. |

At his age I'm expecting for him to have nights like tonight... But hard to win when both your stars struggles.

While refs let Draymond get away with a travel on the other end too and gave him a layup _________________

Was that LeBron's worst game as a Lakers? Sure felt like it. |

Relax guys. He’s just coasting. It’s cool. He’ll turn it up when it matters:
LeBron is one of the greatest but one of the reasons why Kobe resonates more with fans is when the last 5 minutes of the game were in his hands, he took over for better or worse. I kinda wish LeBron is the same, but that’s not who he is... and we have accepted that for three years now. It’s a different type of leadership and we should all be glad to witness it. |

Well said. I mean, I prefer Kobe's style as a diehard fan, but as long as Bron elevates his game when it matters like he's done time and time again, it's all good. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Yeah, rough game from Lebron from the start really but those final 3 turnovers were brutal to watch. Up there with one of the worst games as a Laker.
Given his age and everything else I can def. forgive him and move on easier then I usually could in a game like this where it should have been an easy win. Not worried about Lebron in the slightest more so just a frustrating game to lose.
Hopefully they have a dominant road trip now. |

Just one game. Hopefully just the random poor game of him feeling his age. They are going to happen. Nights when he is a step slow and just not feeling it. As long as they are the oddity instead of the norm. That will come over the next couple seasons.
He still is the focal point, he can’t just coast. Players will smell the blood in the water, like the competitive sharks they are. Tonight GS took advantage of it. James need to come back strong the next couple games. |

Will always prefer Bron’s play over Kobe. There’s a reason why he’ll likely go down as the second greatest to ever play. That being said lol, this was easily his worst game of the season. But, I think guys are overreacting here some. LeBron is 36 years old, he’s gonna have some bad games. AD, while he had a great first half, also coasted and he doesn’t have nearly the career accomplishments that LeBron has. The issue is that this team should still be able to win games when LeBron has the occasional poor game. Unfortunately, AD did too shooting wise. I have more of a concern about LeBron’s mindset in regards to home games. His level of play is completely different when on the road and in what he says “hostile territory” |

That’s a crazy stat.
So LeBron was 284-0 before tonight. _________________

I would have rather he just took a load management game instead of whatever that was last night. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' He was human, lost concentration, dropped his IQ as it were normal. His biggest advantage over his peers is his IQ. What you saw yesterday is the difference in Bron with IQ and without. I give him a pass, as he has had for the most part considering it is a quick restart, a damn good season. |
