Los Angeles Lakers (1-1) vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (2-0)
Sunday, Dec. 27th, 2020 7:00 PM PT
Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA
*Notes:
Minnesota beat Detroit 111-101 in their season opener on Dec. 23.
Minnesota will be on the second of back to back games that started in Utah.
Minnesota beat Utah 116-111. They scored 56 points in the paint to go along with 39 points from the 3 pt line (13/29).
Former Laker D'Angelo Russell scored 25 points and had 6 assists.
This game is the first of a back to back for the Lakers with the second game against Portland on Monday.
Didn't AD drop a 50 piece last time against Minnesota?
Come on AD bust em' up again.
That might be hard with Schroeder and Trezz. The lakers during lebron sitting is finally watchable again.(never happened last season until playoff rondo showed up)
Get this one, sit Lebron in the b2b with Portland. Not ideal but we have to be smart.
Lebron is not gonna sit, but I’m expecting a lot more rest in that T-Wolves game assuming we control that game the way we should. Like a 26-28 minute game for Lebron while he may play bigger minutes against the Blazers. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif
Rather LeBron sit in this game to heal any lingering issues with the ankle instead of skipping the game on Monday. AD, Schroder, and Trez can handle the wolves.

This. Hopefully, a few minutes less than 26 for LeBron (assuming that the Lakers are in control like they should be).
We literally won't need Lebron at all against half of the teams out there. Looks like it's finally gonna be Lakers vs Clippers for all the marbles this year. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024
I'd honestly prefer to rest Bron rather than AD. Schroder, Harrell and AD + our supporting cast are more than enough to keep up with Towns/DLo/Edwards, but I'm not sure Trezz and Marc will be able to guard KAT
Trezz is gonna eat on offense tomorrow though I reckon _________________ #18 next...

I guess they may rest AD today and LeBron tomorrow.

KAT said his wrist hurts and that he'll have further testing. Wouldn't say what his current diagnosis is but said "Stay positive. Told my family how the x-rays went and we'll go from there."
Doesn't sound great.
