Wonder how the pitching matchup for game 6 will look like. |

Kershaw in the 2020 playoffs:
4-1 record, 2.93 era
12-6 in his last 18 playoff decisions since a 1-6 start |

I think we might see Urias in game 6 too if we have the lead in the middle to late innings. |

Kershaw says the original plan before starting the inning was for him to pitch until 2 outs, and even though he got them so quickly, they stuck to the game plan.

He got away with it because he has a talented team. |

Is Buhler starting game 6? It’s a tough call. You would want him for game 7 just in case, but not going with your best pitcher for a title clinching game is hard decision to make. |

An extra day of rest would help.
I think having him for a game 7 is a huge safety measure.
But yes, you don't want to give the other team a chance and putting him in a game 6 tells a message that we are here to close out.
So tough call, but I think they are going to depend on their hitters next game to get the W. |

Snell is pitching for them. Their best pitcher. This could go 7 games. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

If we can get 6 innings combined from Tony and Alex we should be good as long as the offense can get to Snell. |

I would start Buehler if he's physically capable of doing it. The Marlins went to Josh Beckett in Game 6 at Yankee Stadium in this exact same situation, on 3 days of rest, who pitched them to the 2003 title. I'd try to snuff them out at the first opportunity. But, obviously, if he just doesn't respond well to that type of short rest, you can't do it. Not every pitcher can do it. But if he wants the ball, I would give it to him. |

That is in my top 3 of the greatest pitching performances ever by anyone. |

Well Kershaw had a great postseason. I think it’s time everyone gives the narrative a rest forever. Hopefully he’s a champion in the next couple of days too. |

They avoided him by not making it out of the first round. Get out of here with that man. Sheesh. You and candycanes need to go take a vacation in Cancun when the dodgers win |

Wild that Verlander has zero world series wins, 6 or 7 losses, and an atrocious World Series era of 5.68. Plus he’s a cheater and an all around douchebag. Yet there’s zero talk about his struggles. |

Haha, must make you sad that the Dodgers might finally break thru...and Cards haven't been relevant for years. |

Gonsolin starts game 6 officially. Over/under 4 innings? I think him having a scoreless first is crucial. We need to score first to put pressure on TB. |

Gonsolin will start Game 6. Roberts said that going to Buehler was never a consideration and that the blister issues complicate that rationale. OK then, I can buy that. However, if there is a game to be won, I wonder if they would consider going to Buehler in relief to close it out. The downside to that is, if you lose, then he's only available for, at most, a single inning in a Game 7, though you'd still have Urias on 3 days of rest. Still, I wonder if they would consider that. |
