They probably should’ve gone with a younger coach or current assistant coach. The NBA loves retreads though, and why these older guard type coaches in general continue to get hired.
Looking at the list of retreads looking for a job, I guess it could’ve been worse not sure if he would’ve been a serious candidate elsewhere either

For Head Coach, yes. Although I do think we could see Kidd and/or Handy be pried away for the next level up in the not too distant future (Kidd - HC, Handy - Associate HC / HC).

Thoughts on this hire? Seems like he needs to hire some forward thinking minds offensively and defensively.
I think if Zion develops out to his high end potential, they will probably waste him and he'll go somewhere else to win a title. Thats what I think of the Pelicans.
