Literally the only reason they want foreign policy to be discussed at all is so Trump can keep bringing up Hunter Biden. |

Supreme Court decides that Pennsylvania ballots that arrive up to three days after the election will count.
John Roberts joined the three liberals while Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh dissented from the order.
Pretty obvious what the ruling would have been on this if ACB was seated. |

Quote: | Former Vice President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump will have their microphones muted during portions of the second and final presidential debate on Thursday night, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced on Monday in a decision that will likely anger the President. |
Trump will probably use this as excuse to back out of the last debate.
Each candidate will have two minutes to anser and the other will have their mike muted, according to CNN. Then "open discussion" after both have spoken will have open mikes for both and the committee hopes both will be polite. Moderator to try and give both equal time and return time to one candidate if he is interrupted too much. _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman |

Trump is going to go full QAnon after he loses isn't he? Its a built in mark to grift off of and exploit. These rallies make no sense to me other than he knows he is losing and needs to keep their pockets open after he is out. |

We really need to reform the supreme court. It just seems like there isn't a whole lot of thought going on and they're just voting along party lines like the elected officials are. It really seems like we're not getting the brightest legal minds anymore. |

I'm going to quote George Carlin here, as I am wont to do: this is the best we can do. These judges, or politicians, let's say, they don't fall out of the sky. They come from American schools, American churches, American businesses, etc. THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER. GARBAGE IN...GARBAGE OUT! |

I've been thinking, we think this is bad right now? The 2.5 months after he loses will be so much worse. |

This happens way more often than one would think. I'm assuming it wasn't on purpose. I always double check that my mic and camera are off, just to ensure no one can hear what I am saying (I use it for work and things I say off mic are confidential). I don't dare do anything near my computer that would be embarrassing just in case. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

Proud of the NBA players for pressuring the use of the arenas as early voting locations. Most of the early voting locations around here have hour plus waits, but the Amway Center where the Magic play has barely any wait because it can process so many more people at once. There are far more voting booths and there’s plenty of parking making it easy to get in and out. If getting to that area of Orlando wasn’t completely inconvenient for me I’d be heading that way today, I’ll be waiting an hour at a local library instead. |

That's a national poll, so it would be popular vote.
Unfortunately a few state polls have shown some tightening lately.
There was a new University of North Florida live caller poll released today showing it Biden 48 Trump 47, which isn't exactly comforting. This same poll was Biden 51 Trump 45 on Oct 6th. Again Florida will come down to the wire and could go either way.
ABC/Wapo released a new poll for NC today showing it Biden 49 Trump 48. Not a needed state for Biden, but I don't like to see it tightening.
There was also an IPSOS poll in PA yesterday showing Biden only +4.
All in all I'm still nervous as hell about this election. Everyone keeps piling dirt on the Trump campaign, but again here we go with key state polls tightening, yet most national polls showing a large lead. Makes me wonder if the score is being run up in the safe states while swing states tighten. How much has Trump's supposed "miraculous" recovery from covid, absolutely no one near him paying any significant price for getting sick, and him being back on the trail influencing things? And although anyone with half a brain knows the Hunter Biden stuff is crap, none of that was for us. That stuff was aimed squarely at the kind of folks who still somehow are undecided, who get their news from Facebook and Twitter, and are probably influenced by that nonsense.
We're still at the mercy of a few people in a few states who are bad judges of character and who's opinions swing like the wind. It's not unlikely to see Trump win by less than 1% in Florida, Arizona, ME2 and NC and we're down to the election being decided in Pennsylvania, which is ripe for Trump stealing the election via the Supreme Court. |

I made a zoom mistake a few weeks ago, but not Toobin level. We were in an All Hands meeting and my wife called me asking me to go run an errand for her. I’m working from home and she is physically at work. But I was busy all day and didn’t have time to go out and we disagreed on the phone and I said “well I’m sorry I’m stuck here all (bleep) day.” Unfortunately my mic was unmuted so everyone in my department heard that. Luckily everyone knows me and is understanding, so it was mostly laughs. Our Director says “well we all certainly understand that sentiment.” That was the last I heard about it except for my manager ribbing me about it the next day. |
