Yeah, I’m sure the honesty in the answer will fade, but I can at least start with why I’m asking and then go into the hypocrisy of whatever they are complaining about if they had voted for Trump for a second term. And how Trump supporters really didn’t care about [insert issue] and we can start from there.
On smaller scale, there was a bit of hypocrisy with both parties during the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings and Clinton’s subsequent issues/accusations from women. I often tweaked people by bringing up the demonization of the women involved in those as it was pretty much down party line how many felt. So just mentioning the hypocrisy prior or during a discussion has an impact even if someone doesn’t want to fess up.

Not that they haven’t been doing it for years, but watching a sitting US Senator Ron Johnson literally pushing Russian propaganda on TV on a political opponent is appalling. This dude needs to be censured immediately.

Expect the Tara Reade allegations to resurface, especially since the Hunter Biden thing didn't have much impact.
She's apparently publishing a memoir one week before the election.
Because of course she would . . . hopefully all the debunking of her claims goes into full force. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

But right now, I'm shocked by the number of people I know through different avenues are proudly professing their intent to vote for Trump. This morning I saw a guy a know from high school post a video of 11 reasons reasons christians should vote for Trump. Neither he nor the video were being ironic. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

The version of Christianity which Trump and his supporters espouse is a tool to hurt and oppress others while at the same time justify that mistreatment. _________________ Garvey, Lopes, Cey, Russell

The people in my life who vote for Trump can't talk about it. They hide from the conversations about it since they know its utterly indefensible. They don't know how or why any of the stuff they believe is right, they just know its right. Then they can't talk to me about it and have to leave.
You'd think people who really held something to be true would be able to tell you why it was. It just goes beyond reason. I doubt that if Trump loses these people will ever be able to accept it. They'll be like those Japanese soldiers isolated on an island who still thought the war was going on decades later. Except the island will be their inability to accept unfavorable evidence.

I don't consider smart racists as being smart: I look at them more as adept and evil manipulators.
People like Murdoch and the Koch brothers are evil, and are not stupid. These types will use Trump as much as possible to advance an evil agenda. Trump is of course evil and stupid. _________________ “Properly read, the bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived.”

The last couple weeks been seeing more FB posting about ‘I’m not voting for trump, I’m voting for...’ whatever u can think of, Supreme Court, tax, the usual BS. These folks know how bad trump is but would die for him. We need a blow out win in both popular and electoral to avoid being cheated on election again
CNN alluded to something that has been on my mind as well, that Trump's rallies make absolutely no political sense. Trump knows he's losing badly, and yet instead of holding rallies near major suburbs in key metro areas, he's holding maskless rallies in areas where he's already expected to win, which only draws true believers. Instead of altering his messages to court moderates or the undecided voters, he's increased the frequency of absurd, radical views. The intent of these rallies isn't to bolster Trump's political position; the intent is to address Trump's weak ego. He is insecure and needs constant reassurance and and adulation, even if it means a self-destructive re-election campaign.

True, people have a habit of assigning things they perceive as "good" like intelligence to good people whereas intelligence has no bearing on someone being good or evil. It's why you will hear historians use terms like "cunning" visavis names like Stalin/Hitler. It has a more negative connotation in the way that predatory animals like crocodiles are often viewed as cunning rather than intelligent. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!

In addition to that, they need to pretend to the #MAGA people that the race is still competitive for fundraising purposes. It makes no sense that they ran out of money so quickly after having an enormous cash on hand advantage if the money was only used for campaign purposes. But it makes a lot of sense if the campaign is used to funnel huge amounts of money to Trump's family.
Just in terms of his electoral prospects (not taking into account cheating and what may happen after the election), it's very difficult to see any path toward victory. Even the much publicized voter registration advantage by the GOP is not actually much of an advantage if you listen to people like Dave Wasserman who have looked at the actual numbers (in many cases, it's Democrats that voted for him in 2016 finally switching to being Republicans in places like Florida and Pennsylvania). If there is a "hidden" Trump vote, why are all their Senate candidate trailing too in the same states Trump is trailing? On the district level, Biden is doing very well in districts Trump won in 2016 by being either tied or even leading (btw, pollsters noticed a shift on the district level from Hillary to Trump before state polls showed it in the last few days before the election in 2016). The Democrats have donated like crazy in the last few months, which is an indicator of enthusiasm.
Pollsters have also fixed their mistakes from 2016, giving more weight to education. They might even have overcorrected so we might actually see Biden performing better than the polls would indicate.
Biden just has to perform well in that last debate on Thursday, assuming Trump doesn't cancel in the last minute. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid!
I guess they have somewhat of a point about foreign policy traditionally being a large topic in the third debate. But domestic policy always ends up being at least half of that debate, IIRC.
They essentially want Welker to change her already announced topics. And it's not to discuss foreign policy, but to discuss Hunter Biden. And if they let a candidate influence the discussed topics, you might as well just cancel the debate then.
Considering how big the Covid and economic crises are, foreign policy is justifiably less important in this year, especially since nothing was discussed in the first debate. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid!
