Same. The two most valuable franchises are run by two brainless owners who know nothing about basketball. I honestly don't see either team going anywhere anytime soon unless there's an ownership change. Look at the transformation the Clippers are experiencing after just a few short years under a new owner. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024
If KD decides to go to NY, the ball will start to roll in their favor. Of course bad things could happen like the Knicks managing to lose in the NBA draft lottery and getting to draft 4th or worst.

Frank Isola from NBA Radio on Sirius XM said "Easily the Knicks!"
His main points:
-Knicks got a strong Chance on Landing the #1 Pick in Zion Williamson.
-Cap Space for two Max contracts.
- Lakers landed Lebron and still can't win ( He never acknowledged we had injuries like no other team)
Lakers:
-Looks like we are cleaning house with Magic departing.
-Many Reporters are claiming that our Open President of ops position is highly desired throughout many executives around the league
-Nunez fired
-We got a Max Contract Slot open
-Our Young Core still developing and still under their very affordable rookie deals
- Were projected to get the 11th Pick which is definitely something to not overlook
1. The Knicks have a 14% chance of landing the #1 pick. Which means they have an 86% chance of not getting Zion. Until we see if the lottery ball falls in their favor, I don't see that as a "strong chance."
2. They have two max slots and we have one; I'll tell you how big a deal that is when I see who's able to get who. Hard to believe that they'll land two guys who are better than Lebron.
3. It's debatable if Ball and Ingram are really that much better than the Knicks' Mudiay and Smith. Everyone's waiting for all four of them to show more than they've shown so far.
I would say the Lakers because Lebron has a few great years left and AD will prob sign for the max. They are more attractive to free agents because of the tacos.

Sorry, I had to bring this one, back.
RECEIPTS.
And I remember reading this one way back, and just going, but WE HAVE LEBRON JAMES AND A TON TRADE ASSETS (And capspace).
I never got it then. I do not get it now, and certainly never will the next time people turn on Jeanie and this group.
Remember guys, just 18 months ago, people were calling us KNICKS WEST. I kid you not, how stupid does that sound, 18 months later.
Great Bump Wolf 🐺
Totally forgot I made this thread 😆😂🤣
I remember listening to this on the way home thinking this Isola guy can’t be for reals.
Basically the New York Bill Simmons 🤣🤣🤣
They thought they were gonna land KD, Kyrie and draft Zion.
Instead ended up with giving a mid level max contract to Julius Randle, drafting RJ Barrett,
and reeling in Wayne Ellington. 🥶🥶🥶
I wish there was a way we could see who where the 17 posters who voted for the Knicks 🤔🤔🤔

The FO was pissing me off up to that point but I had faith in Pelinka. As far I was concerned, if Kobe has that much trusts in him, I'm all in. Don't expect much in the way of mea culpas though. I'd venture a guess that less than 10% are willing to take their crow while the other 90% are going to tell everyone how they're the type of person to admit they're wrong (while never, EVER, EVER doing so). _________________ KOBE
I have no issue with doubting the Lakers
Man, we made mistakes and we had Magic trashing Rob, before that Jeanie trashing Jim etc etc
My only argument was that a) we had LBJ! b) we had great young assets in Ingram, Kuz (his value higher last year), Ball, 4th pick in 2019 draft AND a max slot.
Calling us Knicks West was appalling
Doubting us was reasonable
No issue with anyone doubting Jeanie Rob Magic etc
Even NOW let me be clear, I don’t view them as elite. Just very competent and knowing their strengths and limitations.

Funny the pipedream of KD, Irving and Zion fell apart rather fast for the Knicks. _________________ Showtime 2.0

Er, that's elite. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".
