Best offensive team we've faced? Denver
Is Miami a better offensive team than Denver? Nope.

They run zones that are hard to set up in transition and attempt to hide Herro & Robinson as liabilities.
Spo has 2 rings, who was on his team? LBJ
Does Miami have LBJ? Nope.

I'm seeing everywhere that no one believes in LA's supporting cast, like they think Jared Dudley and old JR Smith are playing 30+ minutes. I never see anyone bring up that they are actually top 5 in bench points and defensive efficiency.
Everyone keeps asking, "who is the third guy?", yet the Heat have the benefit of the doubt of any one of them can be the guy. |

Especially Herro, dude is ballin. |
I fully expect Herro to disappear in this series. A rookie in the finals? We've seen that story before. Only one rookie i can remember having success in the Finals, and i'm sure yall know who that is. |
Not your ordinary Rookie though, he also is out to prove the doubters because of how low he got selected during the draft. |
It's also not your ordinary finals. There are no fans and no home-court advantage. A rookie could do better in that kind of environment. |
Valid points, and we have Goatruso (another underestimated player) to shut him down |

How is this going to happen when we're longer, faster and even stronger at most matchups across the board?
They def. will never give up that's for sure. They have no shortage of hustle and heart but I don't see them wearing the Lakers down outside of possibly Kuz if Herro pulls out the AD finisher ala Kenny Powers

I'm not feeling good about this series as some, the Heat move the ball really well and anyone can go off (Butler/Bam/Herro/Duncan/Dragic) we will have to be really disciplined on defense. They might find it easier defending our sets since we just rely on Lebron or AD to bail us out |

Not as optimistic as many of you here. I think the Lakers are the better team, but there are so many other factors in play here. Health, team execution, effort, mindset, officiating etc...
I think we end up in a tough battle and hopefully Lakers win in 6 or less |

I agree. I watched the Lakers V Miami regular season games yesterday and this team is the most dangerous so far. I hope I'm wrong but I dont see this being an easy road at all.
Also I love how we went from left for dead in the beginning of the season when Kawhi ensured we ended up with the guys no one else wanted to heavy favorites over Miami.
Narratives dont win championships. I just hope they some how win...this ones for Kobe and the city of LA for every thing it's endured this year. |

Maybe. I think we'll shred their zone with our fast break and how we deploy Bron and AD in half court sets. I think Denver matches up with us better on defense. Could be wrong about that but I still want to see how we attack them before crowning them the best we've faced.
I was really impressed by Grant on Bron. _________________ "If You're Afraid To Fail...Then You're Probably Going To Fail."

Did you see how ball pressure force him to TO's? Lakers has many guards than cam give him that unlike the Celtics. Caruso, Green, KCP and even Rondo. I will not be surprised if he average more than 5 TO in this series. And Bam also is TO prone.

Again how can Bam and Crowder stop DH and AD downlow while focusing on Bron on the outside? I cant believe after all the Lakers has done in the playoffs, most of here are still doubting them. |

Gut read:
We'll win this game.
DG may or may not have the impact I anticipate he will in the series, but will have an impact.
Things to be concerned about IF these happen: 1. Poor 3 point shooting (I havent checked yet but at least 2, if not all 3, of Lakers playoff losses had them shoot 3's in 20%ish or below range); 2. Vogel decides to play the micro lineup for any length of time (no AD, Kieff at C) as I anticipate if he does to see Spo just send his guys straight into the lane - I personally hope we never have to and, instead, the Laker bigs show enough as a whole to keep the Heat honest. |

Recency bias.
Dwight can manhandle anyone on that team...frankly, outside of Steven Adams, he can probably out physical and rebound most C's with any length of playing time.
Folks keep forgetting the strength of the Lakers this season was their size and length on defense. For some reason that one series vs the Rockets where the micro lineup was used with alot of Kieff suddenly had folks forget (despite the last round vs nuggets) where the strength of the team is.
Bam will have a tough go of it this series - as long as Vogel does not try to out-think the room. |

Oh I agree it will not be easy - but I think they take this series, with the typical standard caveats. |

Again I dont say this is easy, but Heat needs an almost perfect game and shutdown DH, AD and Lebron on getting those inside passes for 4 games if they want to beat the Lakers. They also need shoot at least 40% from 3s. If they can do that for 4 games they might upset the Lakers. The question is can they do that? Let's wait and see.
The heat needed more work to beat the Lakers while the Lakers just need to play their normal game like how they beat the Blazers, Rockets and Nuggets to beat the Heat. I am saying how the Heat beat the Celtics is not enough for them to beat the Lakers. Lebron and AD will not choke in the 2nd half like Tatum and Kemba. It's not that Kemba and Tatum are not gettinh their shots, they are just not making them. |
