I would do this if you can package McGee with someone like DG or Kuz. Dwight, AD and Boogie (if healthy and at the minimum) should be enough. |
As much as it pains me, I thinking holding on to DG would be important. Provides that deep playoff experience and he can still defend (sometimes). Someone shared a stat on RealGM that we are a +21.1 with Danny on vs. a -12.0 with him off. Doesn't seem like he is making much of an impact but he is, according to the stats. |

Wish we could sign someone like Jerami Grant. OKC basically threw him in for not much. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Never really understood why the Thunder got rid of him, they could have used him in the Rockets series. |

He’s gonna get paid. I think Craig will be a cheap option if we can get a scorer/playmaker for the our MLE. |

I'm supremely surprised Mike Malone had the guts to run him at the 3. I guess Barton's injury kinda forced him to. But I'll still give him credit.
I do admit though, I like going big. There are alot of 4s in the league I would run at the 3. Giannis, Simmons, Johnathan Isaac. Think the Clippers putting PG13 and Kawhi at the starting 2 and 3 is smart. I actually think BOS screwed up having Smart, Brown, Tatum, and Gordon on the same team. Smart should guard 1s. And the other 3 guys should exclusively play the 2 and 3. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Here is a random trade idea I came up with:
28th pick & McGee for Kevin Knox |

The 28th pick could yield a better player than Knox. _________________ Under New Management |

Who do you have in mind? getting Knox is a high reward cause a change of scenery might boost his confidence because the Knicks are toxic. |

It was a money move.
By trading Grant to a team which had cap space so they didn't have to take anyone back, they saved $36 million with the taxes included.
Remember, Oklahoma wasn't expected to be a playoff team and they were going into tank mode. |

I prefer someone like McDermott but Knox will do it for me.
Cook and that first for Knox. |

Might not be a bad idea. The Knicks are stuck in a mire, so a late 1st would benefit them and we need some decent young players on this team. |

Gotta know what our Center rotation looks like if McGee is gone.
I'd prefer 28th pick and McGee for Mitchell Robinson.
But maybe I do neither trade. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

I live in New York and because love basketball, I watch the knicks.....Knox sucks! He shoots too many jump shots, can not create his own shot and is not a good defender. |

Yep. I've watched more Knicks than I should've the past couple years. He's cheeks. Only speck of optimism I have for him is the fact that Knicks suck at player development. So maybe if he leaves he shows something we haven't seen thus far. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Judging from Kuzma and Ingram, not sure we're the best at that development bit either, to be honest. Caruso is the GOAT, so he will naturally develop |

I think Robinson is a big part of that young core that Knicks wants to build. Knox is more of a spare part. |

I was led to believe by someone that OKC would continue paying luxury taxes. They did for 1 season and then decided...hell no. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Uh, Ingram is an All Star. He developed his game here and then git the opportunity to showcase it in New Orleans. |
