He has no legs in the fourth quarter. He need to play less in the second quarter and save his legs for the 4th. |

He only played 9 minutes in the second quarter, which is about normal for him.
Normally, they rest him for a couple of minutes in the middle of the fourth so he can finish strong.
But in a come-from-behind game you can't do that.
I'm not sure that taking off 1 or 2 more minutes in the second quarter will really matter that much in the fourth. It's just as likely he's playing less earlier will cause the Lakers to get behind, forcing him to play for whole fourth. |

Best way to load manage in the playoffs is still to start the game with good effort, get a good lead then rest where appropriate |

I don't think Lebron was a problem at all. He played fine. We just had no flow from the start..Denver got it going in the second and were getting great shots - we were too busy turning it over. |

best way to save LeBron's legs. Adjust to what Denver's doing and find a strategy that allows us to be so ahead of Denver by the 4th Quarter that LeBron gets extended rest going into the next game
Denver's wide open for lobs all night the way they've been rushing defensively, when we don't make them pay for it we make it harder on ourselves. LeBron and Rondo should be the catalyst of those lobs. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Giannis goes through people. Lebron at this stage is going around them. There’s a huge difference. Stop complaining about the officiating it is more than fair and making us look like babies. We were turning it over and putting up low percentage shots game 3...denver was moving the ball and getting whatever they wanted. That was the difference. |

@Snipes: While you can't blame losses on the officiating, it's impossible not to notice this:
Lebron's in First 3 Rounds:
vs. Portland: 16 FGA, 5.6 3PA, 7.6 FTA
vs. Houston: 18 FGA, 6.8 3PA, 7.6 FTA
vs. Denver: 18 FGA, 4.7 3PA, 3.3 FTA
He's taking less three pointers this series, which would usually translate to more free throws. Yet his free throws are down, but he's gotten well under half as many free throw attempts.
Now let's take a look at Jamal Murray's first 3 rounds:
vs. Utah: 21.6 FGA, 8.6 3PA, 3.6 FTA
vs. Clippers: 18.9 FGA, 6.9 3PA, 3.0 FTA
vs. Lakers: 16 FGA, 7.3 3PA, 6.3 FTA
Murray meanwhile taking a high volume of threes but his free throws have doubled from the previous series.
I think it's fair for the Lakers to take issue with this. |

26/9/8
7-18
1-3 3pt
Lebron's jumper really failed him tonight, but he had ZERO turnovers and a veteran performance in the 4th quarter.

Bad shooting game, but thank God his 4th quarter defense on Murray was on point!
Clutch free throws too! _________________ |

That was Kobesque.
Struggle with your shot.
Sometimes even play 1 on 4 offense.
Dominate the 4th Q scoring and step up and take the hardest defensive assignment.
He is a beast, but he needs to play less 1 on 4 offense if we beat Denver and play Miami. I do not mind the low FG%. I do think playing 1 on 4 is bad basketball if you do it on a consistent basis. Instead he should get a mid-range or mid-wing post up. |

But, but...Laker haters and Nuggets fans on social media said the league wants Lebron to go to the Finals?? How can this be? Actual damn numbers and facts to support your argument? Nah, it's bogus. Let's just go with the usual narrative that the refs are in the Lakers back pockets whenever they win and ignore that the Nuggets shot more FTs than them to this point. I swear, Twitter needs an IQ test |

Great D at the end but idk what is up with the 1vs5 every time he has the ball. Our guys stop moving and defense loads up to stop his drive. He’s just in a position to fail when it comes to that.
Idk if it’s Vogel or Lebron but those 1vs5 possessions can’t happen anymore |

Our offense makes me lose my mind.
Why doesn’t Vogel speak up when he starts doing that (bleep) - hell it would be easier for him to just catch it in the mid post or work from there. Him dribbling the air out of the ball is moronic
That said solid overall game from LBJ - especially on defense late and making his FTs with no turnovers is big |

Good game considering..
Bron has a lot of mileage, and they're playing every other game. Players have a tendency to take contested J's when their legs are gone.
He'll be fine with better minutes management. |

We really need to get a knockdown shooter or two in the offseason somehow...teams just throw bodies at him if he even gets near the paint |

Lebron showing why the Lakers are so dominant with a lead going into the 4th. Its amazing how he can play shut down defense on a guy that is playing as well as Jamal Murray is. Murray seems like everything he throws up goes in, and like its impossible to stay in front of him... so Lebron completely shuts him down on back to back possessions, he even played him straight up and the refs gave Murray a phantom foul that was rightfully challenged and somehow upheld. |

Lebron was huge on us defensively by checking Murray and clamped him down. Lebron has not played a dominant game so far but we still able to control the game 4 and the series. The high screen and roll and getting that ball in the post might be the better play as far as unclogging that lane. The Nuggets are not gonna adjust that built the wall to repel Lebron and collapsing in Lebron everytime. |

He saved the day with his D on Murray. There's no doubt he will do whatever it takes. |

Props to old man Bron taking up the challenge of guarding the team's best perimeter player. He slowed him down. |

We shouldn’t let LeBron key the ball for too long. He was exhausted. Other than Rando, KCP or Caruso should help to key the ball for a while to save Bron’s energy |

Or the Lakers could play at a faster pace and get other players involved. Let’s not forget the biggest wins were when the ball moved, they pushed the pace, more players scored and it allowed James to play 30 mins in the dominant wins. Consistently standing around and using the entire clock is doing James no favors.
The paint is also packed because the defense can set up when James dribbles the ball until there is 5 seconds on the clock then attacks. Limited options when the clock is running out.
Lakers are 5 wins away. Truly amazing that James has gotten the team this far. Just keep it going. Can’t squander the opportunity for a ring. Potentially his last serious chance. |

Part of it is also that the role players are asked to do a lot on the defensive end.
But yeah, the Lakers severely lack consistent knockdown shooters. Basically it’s praying one of KCP, Green, Kuzma or Rondo is hot in that particular game. |
