Rockets took 53 threes in game 2. They took 30 threes tonight. Yes Westbrook scored, but I much rather have him taking shots than their 3 point shooters.
Westbrook is a lesser player than Eric Gordon at this point.
Good news for us - statistically speaking, Russ due for a stinker in game 4
I get the criticism for his bad regular season play he has received from a lot of veteran LG posters but I gotta say they sure are quiet these past two games
I don’t wanna jinx anything so I’ll keep my mouth shut and just enjoy

It's kinda of funny. Rondo really doesn't try at all during the regular season 😆
If it's not the playoffs he doesn't give a damn.
Imagine a Lakers-Celtics finals and that icon of the Celtics destroying them in the clutch. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
Props to Vogel with the 2nd half adjustments, 2nd half was throwing in double teams, traps late in the shot clock, switching the screens on the pick n roll, zones, etc. on Harden that shut down that whole offense. Just a complete victory from the players to the coaching staff.

If he's on your team, why hate the playoff version of Rondo?
Rondo's one of the ten best assist men in NBA history and people here constantly post what trash he is.
I can't believe some believe in Dion Waiters more than him.
He was playing like trash though. If he kept playing like game 1 then we might be down 0-3. He really turned it around though and is a huge reason for he series lead.
If the lakers beat the rockets the rockets small ball is done
In Dantoni's somewhat defense, he was *that* close to beating the Warriors until the CP3 injury, then their owner deciding to not go too deep into salary cap issues and losing some depth (eg Ariza)...then they traded Capella...
That was a much better squad. But youre right, Dantoni sold this team as his "ideal" type.

I still don't like Rondo, prob never will.
But he's a Laker now so I need him to do well so my team can do well.
He had a great game tonight. #PlayoffR
Honest to God I’m probably the biggest Rondo fan here. Even when he was kicking our asses during his Celtic days from 2006-2014
I always would imagine how nice it would be to have a point guard who can take over a game defensively and with his playmaking. (Was tired of watching DFish getting cooked)
Sure Rajon joined our Lakers a shell of that version who was just destroying opposing point guards but I was always rooting for his redemption. A lot of bad play from Rajon during the regular season and then you sprinkle in his bad chemistry with Blonde Kuzma
It feels damn good to see the both of them close out the Rockets tonight in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals tho!!!!!!!!!! 2-1 let’s gooo Lakers!!!!!! 🏀💪🏀🔥🏀💪🏀🔥🏀💪🏀🔥🏀💪🏀🔥🏀💪

I get that he played poorly this season and that this game was a fluke.
But he still has been a consistent playmaker with a great assist turnover ratio for years.
Waiters has never accomplished anything... I don't understand why people think he's capable of something amazing.
Is it possible, sure... but I'd believe Rondo would do something special before Dion would.
GS Warriors had the right version of quick shooting small ball teams. 3 shooters, of which 2 are playmakers, 1 3D wing and 1 shot blocking big man on the floor at same time. This rocket version is just silly, they are making mockery of the game of basketball.

Harden seems oddly detached from this series. It's like he doesn't care. Don't know what's up with him, but something is.
Good win, but not an impressive win. We needed an unusually big game from Lebron and same for Rando. Defense is still bad, our outside shooting (Green, KCP, Caruso) is still lacking and inconsistent, and we still aren't playing properly inside. I'll take any win, but with the Clippers looming in the next round, I'm not feeling too good about things.
