You are right; our perimeter defense will be severely tested. |

Actually better to go big against them. Going small plays into their hands. |
Playing Kuzma at C is playing into their hands. Playing AD at C is just smart. |
Going big is what got OKC back in the series (and almost won). And their best one was an aging Steven Adams. And the Lakers aren't a good enough shooting team IMO to sacrifice the vertical spacing Javale/Dwight offer as well. |

For me three keys to win the series:
1. To contest as many threes you can. They will keep shooting you cannot stop that but to try to contest each and every time to low the %.
2. Remove one of the McGee/Howard from the rotation. I would remove McGee. Howard is better on boards.
3. AD needs to be on top of his game and dominate each and every possession.
Important to keep the rebounding margin as big as possible.
If they manage all three I don't see more than 5 games in this series.
LETS GO LAKERS!!! |

Just worried that were going to come out flat with no energy having almost a week off.
Hoping Rockets are still tired from their game 7 series. |

“Flat with no energy”?
If that is actually an issue then the Lakers don’t deserve to win.
It’s the second round of the playoffs, the roster is rested and exactly where they wanted to be health wise and they have the challenge of a talented opponent before them.
No excuses. Time to prove they are the better team and just win the damn game. |

I, personally, think LBJ is like locked in right now. He hasn't played in a week and wants to remind everyone who he is. He has a monster game tonight and I think the teams follows his lead. |

And he didn't take very well to be called "a Pippen" |

And that is exactly who the Lakers need him to be. Playing like he has something to prove.
Not just tonight but every night the rest of the way. |

Like I said I won't be surprise if we come out flat due to long rest and not getting in an actual playing time for almost a week. It happens to a lot of teams even some of the best. It disrupts rhythm also. |

Here we go. Really irritates me to watch the Rockets play. Smh. |
Sadly, his play this year showed why he was the scapegoat in Houston. After getting traded he got pissed and finally got his body right. If he did that in Houston then he likely doesn’t miss 1/3 of each season there and probably doesn’t get hurt when we need him most in the playoffs. Last postseason he could barely get by people. |

Remember last season when they played the Rockets and made it a point they weren't fouling Harden by defending on numerous possessions with their hands behind their backs? Wonder if we see that in this series eventually... |

Can we get Foster for game 1? He is itching to call some fouls on Houston since he gifted them the win last game...it's gotta be ripping him apart |

Blazers were good practice getting ready to play 3-point heavy teams like the Rockets. I thought after game 1 vs the Blazers, AD had to exclusively play the 5, but they were able to overwhelm the Blazers with size and were too much for the Blazers to keep up. Harden & Westbrook are a big step-up from Dame & CJ, along with the Rockets supporting cast being better, but biggest question is going to be if Lakers are going to be able to stay big with McGee & Howard. Westbrook is the only player on the Rockets that shoots from mid-range, so only have to worry about 2 reads from the Rockets, which are 3-pointers and the paint really. Feel like Vogel will be able to have a really good gameplan for the Rockets offense and Bron should be able to pick apart the Rockets defense. |

I’m honestly surprised that they put Scott Foster and David Guthrie in the first game today instead of this one. |
