Eh, (bleep), your youtube post brought me to a rabbit's hole of watching all the videos again. The news, the reactions, the tributes, the memorial. It's like some sort of a masochistic ritual I can't seem to shake. Still can't believe he's gone. One of the greatest and most sensless losses in sports history.
Probably been posted but just in case. These guys including KD revering Kobe.
Kevin Durant Puts Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant as 1A and 1B All-Time
Don't remember the play vs Sac at 4:50 in, amazing how I hadn't seen that. How he waits for the commit from Bibby before that little dribble right, feet in position, stop, to the right little step Bibby flying by right before.
Whole thing is good, Shaq. Don't agree with hakeem=Kareem, but otherwise. Kareem looked so athletic in these. Shaq thats the real Shaq, just a volcano. With speed.
I keep editing..kobe v. utah w 7' Kirilenko defensive whiz then doubled, at 2:10. This play is way tf up there. I don't see it that often in highlights. This one play is so full of little things, little mental things, separation, momentum, the fake he planned before he even moved there, the end separation and body control. The footwork, the handle, the footwork throughout. The understanding and control of space.
Kobe Bryant, all others aboard helicopter died immediately in crash, autopsies show
Quote:
One of the most popular sports figures in Los Angeles and a celebrity around the globe, Bryant had to be identified by his fingerprints after his body was found in the dirt outside the wreckage of the chopper.
The graphic report made it clear: Bryant and the passengers almost certainly were dead in an instant due to blunt trauma.
"These injuries are rapidly if not instantly fatal," wrote Juan Carrillo, senior deputy medical examiner, in Bryant's report.

The video of Kobe getting food the day before the tragedy is very very depressing and haunting.. it’s like how do you live life knowing that it was your last day, still can’t believe he’s gone.

Can’t believe it’s been four months already. Still feels unreal.
It’s apparent that a lot of people are still in shock over the tragedy, some even are doing there best not to think about it, really wish the helicopter was ordered to stay grounded before they decided to take off.
Report: Kobe Bryant pilot may have been disoriented in fog
Quote:
The report by the National Transportation Safety Board said Zobayan may have ''misperceived'' the pitch of the aircraft, which can happen when a pilot becomes disoriented in low visibility.
Experts have said the path of the flight indicated Zobayan was disoriented.
The 1,700 pages of reports do not offer a conclusion of what caused the crash but compile factual reports. A final report on the cause is due later.

Yesterday on Twitter someone pointed out that Kobe‘s Instagram has changed to “Remembering“. For some reason that legitimately made me tear up again. (Social media changes an account to “remembering” or in remembrance of” to designate that the user has passed away )
