We are looking at purchasing a house in the area. My research shows Brea is a conservative town and most of their populations are whites. I also know a prominent Korean population is in nearly Fullerton and Chinese population in nearby Rowland Heights and Diamond Bar. Any thoughts and comments? |

Asian friends who have lived in Brea as well as Fullerton say they liked living in the area. Convenient to shops, mall, and not too far from restaurants in Rowland Heights/Diamond Bar. Looks like it’s about 20% Asian while Fullerton is about 24%. It will likely go up once the census is updated. If you have kids, there’s an after-school Mandarin language center that opened up in Brea a while back. https://abc7.com/space-after-school-language-cultural/4656564/ |

Yes, absolutely. I'm Japanese, I live in Rowland Heights, but frequent Brea (Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and their dog park) and Brea has always been a great place.
Rowland Heights is dominated by Koreans and Chinese. |

looking at the school demographics, it's about 1/3 white, 1/3 hispanic and 1/4 asian, so I don't see how it can be not racial friendly
the only downside is that it's too far away from SGV |

The area of Brea we are looking at is on the west of 57, only 15 min away from Rowland heights which is considered part of SGV as well. |

Do conservatives actually have a problem with Asians? I thought this was the essence of the "model minority" trope. |

well, it's 20 minutes to everywhere in these traffic now a days.
I don't think that's consider SGV, I think the chinese call that area (coi, hacienda, rowland heights and walnut) "east side" |
