I wonder if Marbury will make it someday given his above average NBA career, his long international career, and being a big part of the success of basketball in China. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

I think there are some others who should be considered before Starbury, Kevin Johnson being the 1st that comes to mind _________________ 48 49 50 52 53 54 72 80 82

💔💔💔
I've been looking forward to his speech for years. Hoping it will involve Vanessa, his girls, Phil, MJ, West, Shaq, and Magic.
We miss you, Kobe. More than you'll ever know

When do they "celebrate" the HOF (i.e. speeches, etc.)? It would be the ultimate cherry on top middle finger of all of this, if Kobe's HOF induction would be audience-less. |

Right now, it's scheduled for the end of August. But there really isn't any reason they couldn't delay something like this and hold it later. |

If Marlbury is inducted it won't be because of his NBA career. It will be because the international committee puts him in because of his play in China |

Well deserved, obviously, but it means nothing to me, personally, since he's not here to see it happen. |

What a fantastic and well deserved honor for all three.
My only thought would have been maybe that it would be better to have just put the Legend in this year and let Duncan and KG go in next year instead as they will be overshadowed by Kobe's induction I believe.
All three very very deserving obviously. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

As they should be, overshadowed. Neither of them could hold a candle to Kobe's greatness. Despite what the nerds try write on their little columns. KG needed to team up with 3 allstars to get his sole ring, then still lost to Kobe who only had Gasol. And don't get me started on Duncan... that boring ass dude don't belong in any sentence with Kobe. _________________ Kobe Forever |

Exactly. Even if Kobe hadn't died he would still greatly overshadow the other candidates. He would be the last one to go up to the podium just like Jordan.
It's crazy to me that some people are still in denial about how great and how much of a global big deal Kobe was. You would think that after the response to his death that would've put the last remaining doubts to rest. |

One doesn’t need to belittle a great like TD to prove Kobe’s greatness. Small, small minds. In their primes they were comparable players. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |
