In response to Kevin Durant hanging 37 and 23 on him, Bob Knight responded at the press table by saying "He is really talented. He is tall, he is quick, he's athletic, what else does he need? I mean there is no secret to it. There is no secret cream they rub on his d*ck before the game. He is just really good"

Durant is unreal. First time I saw him play on TV was in the HS McDonald's game and it was obvious he was a star in the making.
If I had the first pick, I honestly would take him over Oden. There I said it!
Durant is amazing, I think he will be a sure 20+/10 rebs guy for a long time in the NBA. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

^no way you pass up Oden for a SF in Durant.
I beleive Durant will be a 20ppg scorer in the league, but the impact that Oden has on both ends of the floor is way to much to pass up.
Durant's upside is a taller Carmelo
Oden's upside is a taller Bill Russell |

Will this turn out to be the Sam Bowie vs. Michael Jordan argument all over again? _________________ Courage doesn't always roar.

Durant is more like Rashard Lewis with KG-D.
Oden is just another elite C. You can say the stronger Okafor. You can say Bill Russell.
Either way, you're not losing at either. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Every team near the bottom 5 of the NBA should start throwing games. If you can get either Oden or Durant, your franchise is going to be improved dramatically. I am now leaning towards Durant being #1. The guy is doing things in college basketball that major NBA stars never did. _________________ M-V-P |

Durnat has KG type D? I thought it was more like Lamar Odom D. good but not great. uses his lenght more than anything else. only averages 2 blocks per game in college, how does that translate into nba. maybe 1 per game. |

They bleeped it out completely, but it sounded like the first syllable started with a d |

Durant might actually end up being a 4 in the league eventually. He will get stronger with age if he has any sort of a work ethic. With the way the league is headed you don't see as many brute 4's anymore. |

Blocks don't exactly translate that way. |
