Save the criticism for when it's deserved. Otherwise it just comes off as pure hate. He did take 2 poor shots in the 4th. But he was fine overall considering he played well before that. |
He had 4 bad plays on offense ( 3 low percentage shots) and 1 were he passed up an open 3 and forced someone else into a bad shot. That doesn’t even take into consideration the lack of floor spacing and his non existent defense.
For a veteran that is playing because of his supposed b-ball IQ and what he brings on offense, every forced shot is magnified. |
That's an interesting way to describe a 5/4/2 game in 12 minutes. A plus/minus of -1. Against the best team in the league. |
A plus/minus of -1 in a game you won by 10 points isn’t good at all.

Dwight doesn’t play well, Vogel benched him in the 2nd half.
Rondo doesn’t play well, Vogel gives him a 2nd chance in the 2nd half. _________________ Tacos |

Yeah he was ok last night. Not great. Not terrible. But my point was Vogel did the right thing and limited him to 12 minutes. Caruso brought the ball up besides LBJ and he was key to that game. He went with the right guy. |
Agreed. |
we are setting the bar way too low on Rondo. Being just ok is not good enough if we want to win a championship. Its time to pull the plug on Rondo. |
Dude, we are talking of a backup PG needed to unleash the King. Just release the hate. |

For real.
He was bad in the first half and good in the second half.

Vogel showed his hand here, when it's nut up time he will roll with Rondo for 20+ mins
It's clear it's not going to change no matter how badly he plays so we will just have to hope we can survive it |

I dont care if he was playing for free. Its clear as day he is the weak link out there with players who can contribute much more. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

He looks good in the 2nd half because AD has gotten beast mode n the 3rd. Jackson was destroying Rondo's D, good thing AD exploded.
Contiuing to trust rondo will cause them a series, especially if they dont adjust by benching him. This was already happened in a Lebron team, Mario Chalmers last 2014, JR smith and TT in 2018. I'm hoping that playoffs rondo will appear if Vogel continue using him in the playoffs, but I prefer vogel benching him than wait for playoffs rondo to appear. |

4/7/2 in 22 minutes. Poor shooting 2-8. But a 0 +/-.
He was fine today. Jackson did get a couple drives on him in the 2nd half. But he contributed with his playmaking that half too.
It was his 1st half that was UGLY. I was yelling for Vogel to pull him sooner in the game thread.
Some good (2nd half), some bad (1st half). Overall, just fine. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

People don't seem to realize that his stats aren't the only consideration out there. Who are Lebron and AD comfortable with? Rondo? No problem Rondo it is...
If Lebron was calling for Rondo's head he would be sitting. Lebron still trusts him so he is playing. Everyone was (bleep) on KCP, but Lebron was like "he's fine" and so he is. Lebron has the luxury of picking who he wants to go to war with. |

I nearly ate up my TV when he bricked that rushed 3point shot with 5 mins remaining.
That was horrible to watch even though he wasn't really that bad in this one _________________ White guy to white guy alley oop |

It's because the options at backup PG are slim. Caruso is more of a combo guard to me and should have been getting more reps at backup PG to learn the position on this team.
I think Waiters may eat into Rondo's minutes more but it's pretty clear that Vogel will give Rondo at least one 7-8 minute shift per game.
I mean if the team was set on Rondo as the backup PG, why were they going all out for Darren Collison (only plays PG) and reportedly offering Caruso and a pick for Rose? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Luckily, he elevated his game from completely unplayable in the 1st half to barely adequate in the 2nd lol. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

I agree. You have to take into account the intangibles he brings. This team would not be nearly as good without the chemistry they've developed. Case in point - Clippers. Overall they are just about as talented but I don't see that they get along as well. _________________ Not a legend |

a few thoughts on the game:
- game ball: Avery Bradley
- Rondo with some quality minutes in the 3rd.
- Kuz was a make or two away from three from having a great game.
- AD better versus the Clippers than the Bucks.
- what hasn’t already been said about LeBron James? geezus. MVP. |

Re: KCP though. He's actually pretty good.
You don't think LBJ gave his blessings to go after Darren Collison and even put a rumored deal of AC/picks for Rose? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Yup. He had a horrible first shift. Decent 2nd shift.
If the thinking is that Rondo's 2nd shift depends on his 1st shift, then at least be consistent. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Sleep walking early on (daylight savings spring forward?) but controlled the pace and ball handling duties so LBJ and AD could get into their attack modes catching the Clipps napping. _________________ MAMBA OUT
