It is mid January and we are closing in on our win total from last year. God bless the Lakers. |

I agree and I can't believe some are still trying to dog Pelinka.
What he has done in his time here has been nothing short of magical. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

LeBron, LeBrow and the rest of the players and coaches have:

Come on.... Lebron nor Anthony Davis would have been here without magic... he even had Kawai lined up... but pop would not bend.... pelinka is taking credit for what magic gave him...stop with the pelinka is great.... .... I don’t like pelinka and never will... but I do like my team and even have to root for pelinka... but let’s call it like it is... this was all magic but pelinka had the luck of the guy getting fired in new orleans |

Gotta agree, I love this team. Chemistry and Jelling wise they seemed to be pulling for one another to succeed and willing to sacrifice without fuss until there number gets called. It will be tough to lose any of them on a trade, cause I'm afraid the change might cause a rift in chemistry and comradery. 2nd best record in the league when we have a new coaching staff & system and about 2/3 of our squad are brand new to the team, but still we have the record we have. Fingers crossed on possible trade working out. |

It's always iffy when people try to dole out credit to individuals in an organization.
Lebron came here while Magic was in charge, but it's anyone's guess if Magic being here had any influence on Magic's decision.
All you can do is look at the total teams moves under a GM's watch. When you start cherrypicking and saying Pelinka doesn't get credit for X, but he does get the blame for Y, you're just placing him in a no-win situation. |

Yeah, one thing I notice is this whole organization got really quiet again and the drama has been gone since Magic left as well. The way Pelinka still had a solid free agency when all the cards were against him that late in free agency shows someone who came prepared for several scenarios and was never making any "panic moves". He also clearly thought about chemistry between the roster when putting it all together which is seldom talked about. He still has more to prove obviously but so far it's looking pretty good.... |

And I'm feelin that RobMamba in the FO too...don't need to defend a dam thing when your new coach, new staff, and 9 new players off to a 33-7 start.
I voted for a zero negativity force field on LG after every W. _________________ "If You're Afraid To Fail...Then You're Probably Going To Fail."

What kind of team half asses a first quarter that bad, scores 47 at half and ends up with 128 and the W
This team smh. They are getting better, especially on offense. |

Lakers’ 81 second-half points were the most by the franchise in any half since a Nov. 1987 game vs. Portland, according to Lakers PR.
