I'll give Bamba all the credit in the world, great individual play there. I can see why he has a song named after him (even though it sucks).
But with Mario, DeAndre Jordan was waiting under the rim. Had LeBron decided to go full speed past Hezonja, he'd be trying to finish over a set shotblocker with his left hand, while attacking at an angle he rarely dunks from. LeBron hesitated, didn't see Caruso in the opposite corner, and having given up his dribble, he was a sitting duck. |

To quote Stretch and Bobbito from Hot 97 (criticizing a raspy-voiced heckler on the air), Sheck Wes sounds like a 300 year-old coffin opening up. |

Posted this in the "other" LBJ thread, but LBJ is on pace to pass Kobe in 17 games at his 26ppg average.
17 games is Houston Rockets.
18 games away...would be the CELTICS. Oh please do it then. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Should they stop the game after Lebron eclipse’s Kobe’s scoring mark like they did for Kobe? Hmmmm.
It’s kind of weird. Doesn’t feel like it’s as much of an achievement somehow. I think because Kobe loved MJ, modeled his game after him, where it’s not the same for Lebron? |

Passing Kobe to be 3rd would be a tremendous achievement. Passing Karl Malone would take 150 games at a 25ppg average. He'll get to that too.
Passing KAJ would take 208 gams at a 25ppg average. He's within striking distance. Pretty amazing actually. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

No major injuries. He and the Mailman are almost identical in this regard.
If Kobe hadn’t tore his Achilles who knows where he would have ended. Most likely 2nd all time. Oh, well...part of the reality of sports _________________ Mamba Made Moments Meticulously Magnificent |

The difference is LBJ's proficiency later in his career from 3, whereas Mailman only shot 2s and FTs. Should help LBJ far more . _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I hate it when Lebron plays like this, and what sucks is that he doesn’t stop dominating the ball when he knows he’s off |

When Lebron sat in the 2nd quarter Miami went on a 11-2 run.
Against good defensive teams we have 2 primary ball handlers, Lebron and Rondo. |

If you want Bron to play off the ball, which isn't a bad idea, we NEED another ball handler. We don't have the team for it at the moment |

I’m not asking him to play off ball he should adjust and stop dominating the ball if he’s gonna be turning it over 8 times in 3 quarters. Seems like he has adjusted and not dribbling too much or making careless passes |

He had a horrible first half I thought and still ended up with almost a 30 point triple double on 50% shooting.
Dude is unreal |

Lebron looked tired at the end of the Orlando game. He looked tired again tonight. Legs might be getting a little heavy. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

He was playing solid defense on Butler all game and came out sprinting off the ball in the first quarter (for some weird reason) |

Really weird first half and some weird shot selection in the 2nd. However there was a burst in that 2nd half where he was just so good. He is that good a player that he can have a pretty bad game 70% of the time he is out there, but then have such a dominant 30% that it makes him look great in the end. All the all time players are like that, and I think AD is becoming the same way.
Like that he is listening to his teammates criticism and advice. This is great. |
