Vogel has this nonchalant and calm approach that I initially took, pre-Lakers, as lacking in confidence and bordering on ordinary Joe.
When I see the dude in pressers, that couldn’t be more off base. This approach probably doesn’t get guys fired up, but I can totally see how it helps prevent panic and keeps the players confident.

Poor man’s Phil Jackson?
Phil has a little more alpha dog in him than Frank IMO, but Frank has more of that ... thing that makes you crazy because you’re trying to troll him but he just has the same look whether he is losing to you or crushing you.
I was going crazy the first few games bcuz even though we were winning we were not swinging the ball multiple times b4 shooting a brick. But now Im seeing the ball move, guys attack the close out pull the defense in then we kick it out etc... I'm loving it. Kuzma helps bcuz of his offball movement
We really look lost and panicked at times when AD gets doubled. It'll be interesting to see moving forward how the coaching staff deals with this. If a good defensive team is going to double AD, they'll likely also collapse on any cut. Coupled with the fact that we haven't showed any consistency with the 3 ball, it could be tough. Nonetheless, I would like to see them at times re-establish AD when he gets doubled and optimize the space on the floor.

It’s just part of the game and this teams development.
You better believe the team will be practicing doubles on AD and multiple plays to counter it.
Just awesome that he's appreciative of everyone and lifts them up. Mentioning KCP has been consistent with his energy and defense compared to what was said that he's been having an up and down season. Another is that the line-up at the end depends on how they read the match ups and what's called for. Soooooo different from Luke.

Hell of a job by Vogel man. Feels nice to have a real coach on the bench.
Minutes distribution is on point, benching players who aren't putting effort on defense right away.
Add to the fact that we're still shooting poorly from 3PT and other teams are all of the sudden the greatest 3PT shooting teams ever against the Lakers? And we're 10-2? Wow.
Top four finish in the West I think gets Bogel coach of the year.
That wouldn't be enough. Best record in the West, top three defense, AD as DPOY favorite and LeBron on one of the All Defensive teams? Then he's the favorite. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. When asked about subbing in #Caruso for KCP quickly in the 1st after starting KCP, Vogel shared that the Kings were using the "Pat Bev" plan of having Cory pick up #LeBron full court. He wanted to bring in another ball handler on the court so LeBron didn't tire out. #LakeShow

Pity Caruso (or Rondo) wasn't available opening night

If KCP can find some consistency on offense, gives Vogel a lot more options. I think KCP lost some confidence since coming here from Detroit for a number of reasons. LeBron and Vogel and I'm sure others are trying to help him get it back. If he can return to Detroit KCP, our bench would be really tough.

If not for LeBron and the Heat, the Pacers would have had at least 1 championship under Vogel, don’t let the Magic situation make you think otherwise, Lue talks breaking down was a blessing and now we have a legit coach who knows how to get players to buy in, not sure Lue would have been able to do the same.
Frank Vogel was talking about what the Lakers need to improve on, and he offered a critique of himself as well:
"I've got to continue to work on making things easier for Anthony. He's having to create on his own too much, and we need to get him the basketball more in movement."
