It's important to understand that in the NBA it really doesn't matter who starts, but more so who finishes! Javale in the starting lineup makes the most since, he's a returner and plays really well off of AD and LBJ, protects the rim and rebounds, exactly what the team needs.
If he has an off game, then we sit him and in comes Dwight. I'm glad we were able to resign him and then sign Dwight, he's the perfect fit for our team!
Lol I love it. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

hopefully this is a regression back to the mean and not a once every 10-15 game fluke. we've seen javale have solid games last season, but you could count on one hand when he gave this type of effort on both ends. with his length, he should be close to average a double double every game even in limited minutes. _________________ We only celebrate championships.

Gotta give him some love on his first shift. He was so active on defense in helping the team to a 20+ point lead.
Yup, I am here to give him credit- his season did not start off well, but he has made the adjustments and is certainly earning his keep out there now. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss
McGee has began to figure spots to make an impact on offense, and then also this ignites his energy on D. He is doing a lot more swatting and contesting now.
Despite the arrival of defensive-minded big men Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard, JaVale McGee remains an imposing presence in the area for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Been saying this since free-agency.
Where all the WCS fans now? LOL.
I gotta admit, I was bamboozled by WCS as well.
Remember when everyone thought WCS would be a DPOY level player? Some wanted us to use the #2 pick we used on Russell on him. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
There was a pretty funny picture of Javale last night that got posted to reddit. Nicked from Reddit, picture in link:
Hey r/Lakers. Heat fan here. What a great game last night.
Sorry for the poor picture quality but I was not really close enough to get a good shot of this. At some point during the third quarter, JaVale McGee stood with one leg on the announcers table while eating a sandwich. I was not in picture distance, but as a semi-professional heckler, I was in shouting distance. “Hey JaVale, whatcha eating?!” He just stared right through me chewing that sandwich. The next few plays, I think he grabbed a few tough boards and slammed an oop home.

Is it good or bad that our starting center is pretty much invisible? Seems the only time I notice Javale is when he
A. could not gather a rebound in the crowd (almost like a light wind would blow him every which way),
B. fumble a pass (anything below his shoulder),
C. commit a dumb foul (after blowing a coverage on D).
Javale is really pure junk. _________________ Lakers fan since that Magical day June 25, 1979.
