I thought S Curry was a superstar and Draymond was an all-star?
Media pushed that Curry narrartive too much. Had them trying to say hes top 10 all time just cuz hes a safe super star. Draymond has always been a bum and they owe KD for everything he did

I was impressed by both players when they were adding rings to their fingers, but it’s interesting to see how much worse they look when they aren’t playing on an all-star team. Makes Kobe look even better because Kobe still looked elite when he played with scrubs.

Umm, Draymond has been a all star. And a superstar is what one’s bias wants it to be, it isn’t definable lunike an all star. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
Looks like we dodged the Dlo max. As many pointed out took a lot of strange events for him to be an All-star in the east let alone in the west
Imagine him though with AD/LBJ. All the PnR action, open looks?
Right now he can't handle the fact that it's 3 on 5 for the Warriors right now.
In dimension C-137b where Moz got a two-year deal instead of four, DLo is averaging 25/4/9 next to Green, McGee, LeBron, and AD on a 4-0 squad.
(And the Warriors may actually turn a profit this year)
Yeah. I never saw DLO as a lead kind of guy that can guide a whole team. But feasting off LBJ/AD he would have been phenomenal with his PnR and passing actions. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Yup. Just like in football. Some players can flourish as a #2 receiver but not as a #1. DLo is like that IMO.

16.6 PPG, 6.0 assists per game, 39.0% overall and 33.3% from three with absolutely no defense whatsoever. What’s the reason for his falloff from last season? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Yeah. My envisioned role for him was feasting off as a #2 level scorer but off of a top all star level FA. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

I dint think he’s a good fit in GSW despite the “look” of good fit. Playmaking, shooting and pure scoring. He likes to read the court. I think the read and react along with pace of play isn’t the best fit for him. BUT,.. the offense should be his now. He had a real chance to breakthrough with the Curry comps he had coming out of school.

1. contract year
2. Had insane usage rating
3. Played in the east
it was obvious he isnt perennial all star material. glad we didnt give him huge contract but id gladly take him for around 15mil a year

Has a lot to do with the huge changeover in GS and the lack of quality players around him and Steph. Notice that Steph went from 27 ppg on .472 overall and .437 from 3 to 20 ppg on .409 and .243. That's an even larger drop off _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel

Right...it's also been 4 games people. Sheesh. No doubt their numbers will be affected this year, but something tells me that DLO's numbers will get better and that Steph isn't a 24% shooter from 3. (Although Steph may end up being one this year with that injury...)

That Warriors roster is pretty bad, now Draymond is probably the only quality player on the roster other than DLo who isn't injured. DLo had much better players to work with that fit his style of play on the Nets last year.

Even Draymond looks absolutely terrible. I mentioned it another thread but his impact is severely limited when he's not surrounded by studs. He's one of the best ever to do what he does---rebound, defender, initiate an offense, fill in the gaps type of super role player. But...if you're counting on his production as your team's best player, it'll be a long season with plenty of blowouts. _________________ KOBE

Draymond has been eroding for the last few years. Regardless of lineup, Curry and Russell are the only threats to score. Defenses can key in on them and now it’s just Russell. They have no bigs. They have no wings. Check out their roster. It’s filled with borderline nba players. _________________ 14-5-3-12
