I wonder how well a trio of AD/LeBron/Russell would have done had we not waited for Kawhi to make his decision... |

I strongly disagree. A big part of preseason is developing chemistry, and everyone else needs to get used to playing with AD both offensively and defensively.
If we sit him out the rest of the preseason we will be behind other teams chemistry-wise when the season starts. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

On the flipside, D'Angelo could've waited for us. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Not so good. I like D’Angelo but his usage rate (has to have the ball in his hands) wouldn’t work well on this team. |

DLO was good off the ball when he was a Laker so it would have worked plus it would have eliminated the need of Rondo _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

yeah I agree. would be good if Russell can play off the ball, but he didn't like it that much. he wanted to play the point _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. Man, I'll tell you if the Lakers can continuously get that collective play from McGee/Howard, that is a huge difference maker. |

You get the glimpse, DLo would’ve look like Danny Green along side LeBron and AD, open 3s... on the 2nd unit, DLo could’ve been the 1st option but we got Kuzma for that, plus looks like Vogel gonna have one of AD or LeBron for most of time in the middle of game and both to open/close... DLo is a luxury that we can live without |

Have to like what you see with this version of the Lakers.
AD was just as great as advertised.
Lebron is back to being Lebron.
McGee, Green, and Avery are doing their roles.
Daniels was a pleasant surprise. |

The Warriors should move DLo to Minnesota for Covington and Teague and then aim for the lottery. _________________ Under New Management |

You don’t think Russell will get better with more time? I doubt he’s gonna score 4 points when the real games count. |

I think Russell will do quite well there, but the Warriors have too many other holes in their roster and not enough money or assets to fix them outside of DLo. Russell becomes a luxury for them once Klay comes back. _________________ Under New Management |

I am not a huge DLo fan, but I think the Dubs keep him and make Klay the full time SF and give it until the February 2021 (a season and a half) trade deadline to see if it works. Unless, of course, DLo nuts up or just doesn't fit.
I also wouldn't expect teams to jump at helping the Dubs out of their salary cap situation. After 3 rings and 5 straight trips to the Finals, I'd imagine the small market owners wouldn't mind a couple of seasons of splitting $100+ million luxury tax payments from the GSW ownership group. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".

You guys think they should trade Russell for Bradley Beal if/when Beal becomes available? _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Beal is 3 years older, but seems to be a better player. He will be a free agent in 2021, however, and already makes more than DLo. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Not unless the Warriors are planning on moving Klay. _________________ Under New Management |

Even with Klay at SF they'll still need another 3&D forward in their small ball lineups and I don't know that they can afford that player with their limited resources unless they luck out with one of their recent picks. I think moving Russell (or Thompson lol) is going to be inevitable, but you're right that they could wait awhile since their "big four" are all locked in for the next few years.
But maybe that core is so potent offensively that the Warriors can get by plugging a cheap vet like Marvin Williams into their small ball lineups going forward. We'll see. _________________ Under New Management |
