I don't agree. James Cameron doesn't get involved with projects to half-ass it. Since they are basically disregarding the previous movies and are making this as a sequel to Judgment Day, I have hopes that it will be good.
I'm going to watch Terminator 6 this weekend, but I do not think I'll like it because for me the Terminator is Arnold Schwarzen _________________ I have cables for construction projects, marine, offshore, OEM's and renewable energy plants.

Doesn't matter whether he half-asses it or not. It doesn't mean it won't suck.
He poured a ton of time and energy into that POS "Avatar" abomination which sucked. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Yeah it sucked. During its run, “Avatar” earned $2.78 billion.

Good for them.
And millions of people choose to eat Big Macs each day. That doesn't mean that it's a good burger.
Which brings me back to my point - not everybody is able to understand the simple concept between popularity and quality. Thank you for helping to prove my point. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Who defines that quality? Your definition of quality is your definition. Others may not agree with your definition. In some genres Avatar is quality. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

If I like it and other people like it too --> quality
If I don't like it but other people do --> popularity

It's not a question who defines the quality (which has been made clear)
It's a question of what defines quality.
What defines quality is original and interesting storytelling. "Avatar" was a cheesy rip off/adaptation of the whole "Pochantas" story.

Again, popularity doesn't equate to quality. I know you're a Mile Davis fan. Do you think Lil Nas X is a better artist than Miles because he's been popular recently? _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Again quality should be equated to a genre.
Quote:
Avatar won the 82nd Academy Awards for Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Visual Effects, and was nominated for a total of nine, including Best Picture and Best Director.
That's Hollywood recognizing quality.
I don't know a thing about Lil Nas X. If you put him in the jazz field, Miles is the better artist. If you put Miles in, I'm guessing Lil Nas X is a rapper, Lil Nas X is the better artist. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
