Understood. But both are making 7/8m a year respectively now. They are not as cost controlled as they were when they were making much less before. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Boss move. Show me you are worth a spot on the team. Smart move Rob. |
Exactly what I thought re: Rob. Don’t recall “workouts for pros” occurring before. Anyone know?
Regardless, it’s a great move, totally business. Show us what ya got. And that you deserve to be here.
Again, my props to a Rob. I hope people remember the little things he does like this that will hopefully bring some order to the F.O. and ultimately the franchise. Seems it wasn’t too long ago that the approach would have been more “seat-of-the-pants, shoot-from-the-hip”. |
I would give Pelinka props if he had the foresight to see that Cousins and Davis will miss games and plan accordingly. He has built two rosters and neither were balanced. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

No you wouldn't. Your entire agenda since Jimmy & Mitch were fired has been to crap on every single move the Lakers have made and on every single thing they have done.

Why is noone mentioning that Howard is a natural distraction, bit with the rumors swirling around him, it is impossible to insert him into any NBA locker room. He isn't savvy or bright enough to deal with these rumors.
He's too much of a distraction. You don't think every player in the league knows about his rectal issues? His personality before the rumors made him a questionable teammate. After the rumors and rectal surgery, he's done.
A whispering locker room is a toxic locker room, so Howard shouldn't be a viable option at all. |
Stop germ spreading. The gay allegation is unfounded. This is coming from someone who doesn't want Dwight here. _________________ Formerly OC Lakerfan |

It wasn't the correct play in my opinion. We missed out on a lot of valuable free agents doing so and we would have lacked depth. If 1 player gets injured, it would be tough for us to overcome that. We seen that with the warriors. Depth is important. The right play was what we did when Kawhi signed with the clippers. That needed to be our play out the gate. |

He could be having an affair with Donald Trump for all I care. If he could make us a better team (moreso than anybody else available), I'd sign him.
As long as a player isn't committing violent crimes in his free time, all that matters is what they can do for us on the court. Period. End of story.

Thomas 3yrs 27mil and Zubac 4yrs 28mil are overpay for unproven players. Plus before DMC ACL, he was better option and being paid less. |

Howard is mentally weak. Always has been always will be. Havent we alrdy been through this? How many actually saw dwight play since he left us and regret not having him after he left us? Answer: no one. We all laughed from a far thankful we dodged his bullet.
Now dwight is even less productive, older, and we want to get him back? It's like u dated some chick, she was horrible in bed and she cheated on you and then left you only to go on and date your co workers who have all regretted hooking up with her. now she has 5 kids from 5 different dudes and herpes and you're trying to get her back. |

Yeah, I didn’t think that you could dispute what was posted. So instead try to deflect the conversation. Typical move when your gun is out of bullets. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Ditto. If he can help us win . . . I just don't want any of his issues - personal, political, financial, sexual, emotional, physical - to screw up our locker room. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

"want him back" is too strong a feeling, more like... oh... that's what's available? We can either have the top layer of the bottom of the barrel (Dwight) or the rotten bottom layer of that same barrel (Noah)... |

This is 2019 and people are considering sexual orientation as a potential factor in whether or not we acquire a player? And this is... in LA? Not in the Bible Belt?
That might be enough internet for me today. |

I don't think anyone has said that. It's pretty much an established fact that Dwight is hated internally where ever he goes. Whether a part of the reason for that is the perception of his sexuality could be a possibility, although I'd bet it's just his personality. |
