I'm not sure if we're allowed to post RDA or not, but

OKC is now AGGRESIVLY attempting to find a landing place for Chris Paul. Their first plan was to have Westbrook sent to Rockets via 3 team trade. They do NOT plan on playing him this year and will likely agree to a buyout if unable to find a trade.
Oooo my gawd lol, please no more RDA
I just went on his twitter and every response to his tweets are "clown" and calling him out for being a fraud lmao
James Harden was a driving force in this deal, I’m told. Russell Westbrook and Harden decides they wanted to reunite and Rockets made it happen despite some questions about fit now that Harden is so ball dominant. Houston believes ceiling is higher with Russ than CP3.
I agree.
But hopefully RW's 3 ball continues to suck next year.
I really don't see how their ceiling is higher, but we'll see.
One aspect might be that RW might play at least 15 games more than CP3.
I know that Presti is getting heralded as a genius...But what if the Clippers and the Rockets remain contenders for all those years? You will have to get lucky and hit on late first round picks.
The swaps would be worthless, but the picks are trade assets right now. Presti has all sorts of flexibility.
OKC got KD, WB and Harden with #2, #4 and #3 picks. Presti needs to tank to have a chance at superstar again.
That worked out well for us . I actually signed in to ask whether fans still wanted a GM like Sam Hickie whom shamelessly tank for lottery picks or a GM like Rob Pelinka whom take the shortcut for a superstar? I know for a lot of us the “tank” years were like purgatory, so foreign, but that’s the “accepted” way to acquire a superstar - according to other team’s fans. What a joke.
BI and ZO were crucial for us getting 26 year all star in AD. So yea, it worked out for us. Usually works out well as long as you draft decent rather than Okafor, Flutz type busts. I was firmly on team tank when we couldn't get superstars btw. Nick Young and above average vets with 40 wins wouldn't have taken us anywhere. _________________ Showtime 2.0

Thunder GM Sam Presti has spoken to Paul’s agent, Leon Rose, a source told ESPN. They worked together recently on a situation like this with Carmelo Anthony. Still plenty of ways this resolves though.
Just spoke to a source close to the Rockets organization, I asked him about the Westbrook acquisition and he said to me "We're trying to win now. What happens two, three years down [the line] doesn't concern us at the moment. We'll figure it out when it's time"
KARMAAAAA !!
They had Victor Oladipo, Domantas Sabonis, Ersan Ilyasova after shipping Ibaka to Magic. They sent 2 great players to get PG and prevent us from getting him. Now PG is gone, Oladipo and Sabonis are in Indiana and OKC is forced to trade Russ & headed to tank city. Basketball gods rock Purple & Gold 🤘🏼🤘🏼
