It's funny how there is no numbers next to KCP.
It just shows you how useless he is. |

we have a very good, very big team. we were shocked by the kawhi decision, but relatively speaking we still might be bigger and better than the rest of the nba, which is the best position to be in. we are also not the worst shooting team anymore. we arent the best, but at least not the worst. our shooting last year was crazy bad. no more lonzo bi hart, etc. where everyone thought they would be these great players. so now with kcp, ad, bradly, caruso...our shooting should be decent.
also, we better use our bigs well. mcg can easily get 20ppg, ad can get 30. and cousins can get 20. we dont need the 3 bombs. these 3 guys are awesome and we better use them a lot. if this turns into a stupid lbj dribbling at the top of the arc kind of team, thats real bad news. get rondo the ball, he will have a field day with the passes to the bigs. |

A bit of an exaggeration--3pt% definitely has a meaning. Still, the low free throw shooting percentages by the Lakers should be a thing of the past. _________________ “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

Depending on the need Lakers can go with Bradley, Green, LBJ, AD and Mcgee to end games with defense which provides 4 guys who have been on all NBA defensive teams so at least know how to play D plus another (McGee) who can block shots. Interesting pieces. |

i honestly feel like this year mcgee can score so much if they do this right. he was already easily our best player all last year, on both ends almost. with all the attention to ad and lbj, he should just feast on easy buckets. lebron and rondo (lebron especially) would be smart to make this his #1 priority. |

I worry when players 3-13 are very comparable on a roster. Reminds me of LBJ's last team in CLE and Boston last year.
If you use a steady rotation. No matter what. 3-4 players who can contribute are out of the rotation and that can breed discontent. Even players getting bench minutes can get upset.
Our coaching staff has it's work cut out for them. At least Hollins is known for keeping vet players happy. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

I've been playing around on what the Lakers might or could do. Here are some starting lineup ideas:
1. LBJ, Green, Kuz, AD, DC. This leaves the bench without a main guy who can come in and set others up. We'd be looking at something like Rondo / Caruso, Bradley, KCP, Mcgee and depending they want either a Dudley or Cook as the bench mob. I'm not a fan of that rotation.
2. Bradley, Green, LBJ, Kuz, AD. AD probably doesnt want this, however. But Leaves DC on the bench to be the center piece of an inside-out game via the bench with shooters.
3. Bradley, Green, LBJ, AD, Mcgee. This is my personal favorite right now to start (and possibly end) games because of defense and a balance with guys who can hit the 3 - only downside is this has ok, but not great overall 3 point shooting (Green is the exception) - for that we need Cook and Daniels. Leaves Kuz and DM to lead the bench and even be around-mid game to work with AD and LBJ depending on lineups. Will have shooters that can obviously rotate in at different times to hit 3's.
There's others but those are the ones I've been playing with. |

Are you basing it if Points per game? Danny Green is a lot better shooting percentage wise, defense, and advanced stats. _________________ Previously LBJ23 |

One thing not mentioned is that Lebron and AD have been publically humiliated by Kawhi Leonard. Lebron was rebuffed for the likes of Paul George, and AD gave up $4 million. And now the media is saying the Clippers are the favorite to win it all.
I guarantee you both Lebron and AD will be extermely motivited next season. We may see career years from both of them... |

Lol at Caruso 48%. Prime example of overrating counting stats at face value. |

OR
Maybe Alex has actually progressed to the point where he has become a pretty good high energy bench player |

He's not useless, he was born to get paid.
KCP rhymes with MVP, definitely not coincidence |

Made this team on 2k
Lebron/rondo
Bradley/KCP
Green/Kuzma
Davis/Kuzma
Cousins/javale
These are the 9 guys in my rotation. I just pick them teams and watch the computer play it out. Beating down 01 lakers right now 73-38 with 2 mins left in the 2nd.
Blew out the 96 bulls 143-87
Next up is the 85 showtime lakers.
This might be the team lebron is remembered for.
Luke Shaq and Kobe
Jordan, pippen and Rodman
Kareem and Shaq
Right now it’s the Heatles but I really think this will be an all-time great team.
Rondo, Bradley, cousins are really underrated signings. I love our bench _________________ “like I never left”

Being a high energy bench player has nothing to do with op reaching at his 48% 3pt shooting from last season. It was an anomaly to say the least. He only attempted 50 3's. My point is that it's very low volume and shouldn't be expected for him to replicate that again, as he's a career low 30s% 3pt shooter dating back to college. |

Public humiliation is a stretch. This happens all the time. How many times did it happen to KB24? Many times.
Kwak recruited Kyrie, KD and Butler. He got rejected.

I think we just have a whole lot of big names. Cousins/Bradley/Rondo/Dudley/KCP were all at a point in their career great, but not so much now. Resigning Caruso/McGee and getting Green were our best moves
