During the regular season, yes, Webber can be a real factor.... I keep thinking, however, of all those "chokes", in the playoffs, when the game really mattered. Webber is another one of those superstars, that just could never win that big one. Of course, he would seem to be quite an upgrade, from Vlad/Rad. _________________ "Teamwork is a nebulous thing. The Lakers still have Kobe Bryant, last I checked. I think at the end of games it will be Kobe taking the last shot and having all the pressure on him. _________________ Courage doesn't always roar.

He wouldn't need to take over in the clutch. He wouldn't be expected to "make it happen".... |

Speaking Webber's playing ability: Has Webber been effective in the post while with the sixers? I haven't seen much sixer footage lately but from what little i've seen all he's done there is hit the midranged shot and grab a few rebounds,
he doesn't look like the webber from his Sac days, he used to have that flat hook from 6 to 10 feet out that was real effective, does he still have that? or is he now just a more phyisical version of cook? - without the three point shot i might add, |
