Kyrie has ongoing knee problems, he's not going to have a long career where he's effective. |

It would, Kyrie, good buddy with AD. LBJ has worked well with KI. Better team than he had in Cleavland. LA marketing opportunities with the new dynasty. |

Kyrie Irving wants to play with Anthony Davis
https://theathletic.com/1029788/2019/06/15/aldridge-lakers-get-their-man-pelicans-work-their-plan-ripples-are-nba-wide/
Quote: | If Davis waives his $4.7 million trade kicker, the Lakers will be able to add another star in free agency on a max contract. Whether it’s Kemba Walker, whom the New York Times’ Marc Stein reported as a potential Lakers target, or Kyrie Irving, whom sources have maintained for months wants to play with Davis, someone dynamic will likely be on the ball next season in L.A. (Cap guru Albert Nahmad pointed out Saturday that the Lakers might wait 30 days after the June 20 draft to officially execute the trade so Davis could keep his trade bonus.)

We can't sign anyone so I'm not sure what the news would be. I don't think we can even risk having that kind of info leaked even if the intentions were there. |

This is actually crazy, it went from Kawhi being a lock to re-sign in Toronto or go to the Clippers ( which I've always said was BS ) and Kyrie being 100% to the Nets to now both of them want to be a Laker.
We turned it around to guys fighting to be a Laker instead of us fighting to convince them overnight. Thanks Rob |

Davis isn’t waiving the trade kicker, how would we afford Kyrie unless he took less? |

Which is now in question because Woj reported it’s going down the 6th. And Tania Ganguli said she heard the same thing (that he trade would go down at the end of moratorium). At least Tania left a little wiggle room because she does say there is some question as to the official date of execution. |

Maybe we can be patient for a day or two until the official announcements of date of trade execution and trade waiver?
Wouldn’t that be better the speculating and reacting?
If you don’t like what you hear then you can rip the Lakers FO a new one for incompetence. |

He has the ability, but he doesn't do it all the time. He plays D when he wants to. In the finals, he absolutely clamps down. |

This is a message board to react to rumors and speculation. So we are going to react to new news and speculation, especially when it’s from a generally reliable source like Woj. |

Re: Kyrie with Boston
I’m wondering if there was a fallout after Knee-gate the previous year. Maybe he felt like they couldn’t be trusted after IT4. |
