Since 1984, every NBA Finals has featured a player who was, at one point, on a team with @Shaq. @ibescoopjackson looks back on one of the most incredible streaks in sports.

"One of the most incredible streaks in sports"? Must be a slow news day. Is it really significant that Greg Kite played with Shaq at the end of his career? |

It's no streak. Says something about the insignificance of some "stats":
- Having played with LeBron, Shaq's "stat" is accounted for by one guy in every season for eight straight years.
- Shaq traveled throughout the league too: six teams, four in his final three seasons.
- Shaq's long career. There's been only eight seasons since he retired; It's no shock then that the last four teams he played for spawned so many playoff team members. Hell, he played for MIA, CLE, BOS in that closing stretch. |
