(1) Stretch Big
Brook Lopez: 3-year, $20-25M; $28M max (if MIL fights for him)
Plan B: Dewayne Dedmon: 3-year, $20-25M
Plan C: Bobby Portis, 4-year, $25-35M
(2) Point Guard Depth
Darren Collison: 3-year, $20-25M
Plan B: Seth Curry: 4-year, $24-30M
(3) Enforcer/ Small Ball Center
Julius Randle: 4-year, $50-60M (seriously)
Plan B: Al-Farouq Aminu: 4-year, $32-40M
(4) Shooter Depth
Reggie Bullock (re-sign): 4-year, $18-22M (either with cap space or Bird rights) |
Should we miss out on Kawhi, KD, and Butler.. I like this.. |

It might have worked against GSW had he qualified... because then they might have had to deny him the supermax. |

According to who? I don't think MJ pays up. They couldn't even make the playoffs, why pay him that much. They need to start over |

I hope the Raptors get to the Finals and GSW crush them.
It would give KL more incentive to leave Toronto, come team with LeBron and demolish the Warriors next year. #KlawsRevenge |

There’s no tampering enforcement by players and while Magic Johnson, the guy that got in trouble for tampering before is no longer there, LeBron is tamperer-in-chief of the Lakers right now.” |
Good stuff, Bron! |

Assuming we lose out on all max free agents and no AD trade, this is my roster:
Go hard in signing these 3 players
JJ Redick---18M/1yr
Seth Curry-30M/3yrs
B.Lopez------8M/1yr.
+
4th pick------6M
+
Holdovers---66M
Total---------108M
LONZO
INGRAM
BRON
KUZMA
LOPEZ
CURRY
REDDICK
HART
4th PICK
CENTER (MLE)
WAGNER
BONGA
CARUSO
What's yours? _________________ Trade AD now.

Gilbert Arenas had an interesting interview on 710.
Quote: | Take with all the grains of salt in the world, but Gilbert Arenas says players will turn down money to come to LA and NY because they can make it back up. Also that “upper turmoil is never a factor for the player”. Says only thing that can deter is “LA media” |

He also said if he was KD, he would not start over and he would just try to win as many rings as possible...Said the 2 best places are Warriors or join Lebron. He said anywhere else it will take at least 2-3 years. |

No more 1-year deals for big money. No more punting. Also, Redick is almost certainly staying on the East Coast.
If we struck out on max free agents and if we don't make any major trades, I would target players like Bogdanovich, Mirotic, and maybe even Vucevic. Seth is a very good idea, though I think he gets more than $3.33MM a year. Maybe Lopez would come back if he believes Magic was the reason behind us not wanting him back, but I'm skeptical.
Others I'd look at: Dewayne Dedmon, Pat Beverley, Marcus Morris, Kevon Looney, Kenneth Faried, Darren Collison, Nerlens Noel. |
