These kind of games are just layup lines, so I wouldn't read too much into it. Except that in a young all-star game, Kuzma is our brightest youngster, and he holds his own with Simmons, Tatum, Mitchell, etc. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

He went off today though and was a great performance. |

Nice job by Kuzma. Can’t take much away from this game though, there were maybe three or four shots Kuzma made today that had any defense played on him at all. The rest were wide open concessions in what’s essentially a no defense all star game. Having said that, it’s a relief to start seeing him hit threes at a respectable clip again. The sub 30 percent shooting he’s spent much of the season languishing in has been tough to watch. |

Dumps is a moron for not taking the offer the Lakers had out.
Kuz is a probable future all star and Ball/Ingram are two way starters along with draft picks and Zubac ... yeesh
In a way I’m glad, I think Kuz will do well as a Laker. I would like him to be the guy we mold into the core of the franchise for many years. |

I’m happy he played well but these games mean nothing. It doesn’t prove or disprove anything regarding the caliber prospect any of the players in the game are. |

One of the reasons making the playoffs would be beneficial would be for young guys like Kuz to show out and get some of that shine Tatum got last postseason. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Yea if we get the 7 seed and win a series or two, our young guys value will skyrocket IMO. Tatum player well in the playoffs but I’m amazed by how incredibly overrated he got after last year. Great player and a better prospect than anybody we have as it stands right now but it’s become normal for the media to consider him more valuable than all 3 of our guys combined. |

Kuzma shouldn’t be traded. He will be an all star in 2-3 years time. Trading Kuzma will be the biggest mistake by the front office. Just go for a Max FA, next year we will be top 3 seed in the west. Luke will definitely need to go in the summer. |

The Lakers were morons for trying to throw everything away for a one year rental.
Hope we'll see Kuzma, Lonzo, Ingram, etc all on the Lakers for years to come tbh. If Davis wants us so bad, he can come in 2020. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Very Kobe-esque of Kuz to go balls out in a game that doesn't matter and most other players are just happy to hang out. Love that competitiveness. |

Simmons will probably be the reason why the 76ers either exceed expectations or fail this season..... |

Jesus we get it, it was an all star game and nobody played D.
It's something positive about the Lakers, which there hasn't been much of in 2019 as yet so how about we just enjoy it?
The fact that our 27th pick is even spoken about in terms of being the best in the draft is nuts. |

Kuz is getting a lot of positive press off this. Good for him. Good for us. Anyone analyzing it beyond that is silly. |

I love the "I don't give a (bleep)" attitude by Kuzma. Too many kids these days looking over their shoulders to make sure they're not hurting feelings, Kuzma's looking ahead at the goal. Love it. _________________ Phil Luke |

What I don't like is Kuz admitting he wanted to win MVP because of the bonus while saying lines like "bonus 1-2-3" after a timeout.
Sounds like a guy who's just looks to get paid rather than maximize his craft.

Yes, a game with no defense or rebounding is perfect for him. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Yeah, I think with a hot streak in the playoffs, Kuz (or one of the other young guys) will close the gap in the minds of the media and these other GMs. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Are we doing a bit where we hype Kuz in hopes other teams are reading this forum?

The bonus was $25K for each team member not for MVP. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |
