That's a legit team, provided a super team doesn't form that's a contender. |
Yeah I didn't want to make a super long post but it's based off of the trade above
Is Kuz traded in this scenario? |
|
That team is trash tbh. |
I think the team is good, just not possible. |

We're not winning a title if we don't sign an option that's good enough to make LeBron option 1B as gets in his old age. We need a complete franchise player and Kyrie is not that imo. |

AD can't win with no core and no draft picks.
He can't even win with quality players like Jrue/Mirotic/Randle.
How is he going to beat Philly and GSW with old LBJ?
The only way we have any chance is if we can get three stars... but I think we only have 25 million left after we'd get him. |

We just need to get KL. I doubt that he stays in Toronto. |

KL is a great plan... I'm only saying trading 7 to 10 assets for AD is not.
Signing AD in 2020 is fine also. |

Dysfunctional is as dysfunctional does.
This isn't an unprecedented situation...Before the Pau Gasol trade, Kobe requested a trade. We had to shape up or ship him out. NOLA has done neither.
Now NOLA's lost leverage in the off season and Woj reports that they will continue to push back?
I am over it at this point. Best case scenario now will be for Boston to trade for him using some of the young core and for AD to walk in FA. |

Again, I offer something like Josh Hart, a first so heavily protected it eventually becomes a late second and some filler for AD and when Mrs. Small Market asks “where’s The Godfather offer?” I reply “Ask Dell Demps”! |

Yeah everything considered would be to just sign KL this summer and maybe make some smaller moves to get the right fit around them.
Trading for Anthony Davis just seems really complex and fielding a team after the fact looks pretty daunting.
Lakers future looking more and more based off the decision that KL makes. I don't even know if the Lakers are his best option, especially with Lebron's age taken into account. |

We’ll either get AD this summer for peanuts or just wait with open arms in 2020 as New Orleans loses him for nothing. |

They can still trade him to other places. If the Lakers have to give up more then four assets its probably not worth it. They have to be getting a little bit of a steal on this for it to work imo. A third team getting involved could help. |

There is no team out there going to trade for a rental player coming off of surgery. We have the market cornered. |

I don't believe this. For example if I was Portland right now I would offer CJ and a couple draft picks just for a chance to pair Davis with Lillard for one season. You can make lateral moves with Nurkic and Leonard to fill the team better. Portland is a franchise that is stuck in the middle forever, it would be worth the risk. |

Melo and Monroe are the only 2 that seem like a good move. Monroe can at least rebound at a very good rate, decent passer, and ok defender. Not sure if he can still score as efficiently as he used to |

Clark is playing in the Adriatic League and Sessions in Israel.
Just the type of quality “ring chasers” I would expect to be filling out the roster next season on vet min contracts. Keep that contact info up to date! |

Horrible defender, red carpet to basket for other teams' players. |

Honestly, it's tied to Kyrie IMO. If Kyrie re-signs with Boston, Boston is probably more willing to run the risk that AD walks. _________________

I totally forgot Monroe was a FA, I should have added him in the notable FA list. |
