Besides that.... I read in this thread alone about 25x that he's a "shooter".
For goodness sake, he's shooting the 3 at a lower clip than the league average. That makes him a below average shooter!
It's like every freaking person that calls Kuzma a good shooter. He's not! And neither is Muscala. Just because you take them doesn't make you a good shooter!
I'm all for trading young assets for good shooters, but Muscala isn't one of them! At last check, the league average shoots the 3 at 36%, he shoots it at 34%! This team actually needs PRODUCTION from the 3, they don't need someone to take them and make them at below average rates!!!!
(bleep)! |
How about last year? How about the year before that? Also, how about compared to other PF and Cs? Please use his stats accurately. His shooting numbers are good. Good enough to open up the floor for LeBron and also Ingram. |

This is just sad... I don't even want to watch another game this season. _________________ “There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. A man must constantly exceed his level.” ―Bruce Lee |

Zu was my favorite player...why couldn't we trade Hart, Lance, anyone else.
Hard to stomach even if folks are explaining why. I don't care if he is a RFA, I would try to sign him.
He was so fun to watch and when Luke, the dumbass, actually played him the right way, he dominated.
Bye Zu.....
Stupid move..... |

Judging by how are former players' tweets and how our current players are feeling. We are slowly becoming known as a place which is a mess and where you dont want to be. _________________ Llluuukkkeee |

Zubac was coming into his own, shot a high percentage, was playing exceedingly well, was outplaying McGee and Chandler.
So the Lakers get rid of him for a center that shoots 39% from the field and 34% from three.
It's obvious why.
Zubac was playing well, Lakers didn't want to pay him cause their saucer eyes are on "MAX MAX MAX" so they got Muscala who won't be here next year, doesn't play defense, sucks from the field, and has been okay from three in his career, except this year where his shooting has dipped off down to 34%.
This is not a good trade. This is not a good move.
This was them getting rid of another young player they misused and didn't want to trade because they are obsessed with the max potential.
If they don't land a FA this off-season, this FO has to go and Jeanie along with it. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

And even if they sign Kyrie and then trade for AD you will still find something to cry about.

AGREE 1000% Hate this trade....hate it..hate it.....we keep banking on this max player summer....what we should have done is not let Lebron sign and just pay all the kids for another year and see how that works out....then getting some smaller deals or buyout market players.
Not sure why Magic and Pelinka swing for the fences. They look stupid here. Wondering if they really know the talent they have or that's out there.
Stupid move, still, in my opinion. |

Zubac was soft trash, svi was soft trash, Beasley was trash. I don’t know much about Muscala or Bullock honestly, but if either of the can finish through contact, shoot, box out or protect the rim occasionallh then this was a win. |

If his defense is atrocious then everyone on our team is garbage? This is just not true. And when the Lakers are healthy they are a top defense in this league. To act like the sky is falling over Zubac is what is atrocious. Get a life people. Its not like we just signed Mozgov to 20 million. |

Yeah, you keep saying that. Doesn't make it correct though. I won't say he's a defensive wizard, but he holds his man to below his typical FG% on average. So did Zu this year. And as somebody mentioned, he's great at boxing out, which helps his teammates rebound. That's what Brook Lopez did for us last year.
None of this is a knock on Zu, whom I'll miss too. But Moose is a fine player who will make our offense better. |

Do think we could have gotten someone better but we weren’t keeping Zubi most likely anyway. |

Magic is absolutely decimating our front court. He's giving up our only bright spots in JR and Zu for free. Jeanie might have to start thinking about a golden parachute for Magic. |

Think about it. Jerry West wanted Zu. Yup. _________________ I believe that a triangle, if it could speak, would say that God is eminently triangular, and a circle that the divine nature is eminently circular; and thus would every one ascribe his own attributes to God. - Baruch Spinoza |

The LG Prince of Darkness. This team is in MUCH better shape than it was on February 20, 2017 (the day before Magic was hired).
I know you're sad that Jeanie forced Jimmy & Johnny out after their coup failed. Don't blame her - blame them for overplaying their hands and under-counting her votes. She's the Team Governor and the head Trustee. When she goes/dies/retires, then it will go to a younger Buss. James Hatten Buss is dead to the Lakers and will never return. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Folks. The NBA and Lakers should be entertainment. It’s not life or death. Find a way to enjoy it or just stay away from it if it makes you so personally upset. I pray some of y’all will find some peace. It’s just a game!!!! _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

this FO has basically made one good move so far
just about every single other move is questionable, some are awful
granted, the one good move is about a good a move as can be made
but the point also remains that LBJ might have signed irregardless of who the FO were _________________ one dog goes that way the other dog goes the other way |
