So I hook my new 360 up, turn it on and get the E67 (harddrive) error.
From MS support:
1. Turn off the console.
2. Remove the hard drive. For more information about how to attach or remove the Xbox 360 Hard Drive, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
906204 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906204/) Xbox 360: How to attach or remove the Xbox 360 Hard Drive
3. Reattach the hard drive, and then turn on the console.
4. Obtain the latest automatic update for the Xbox 360. To do this, connect to Xbox Live.
5. If you continue to experience this behavior, contact Xbox Customer Service.
Well you can't connect to Live without the harddrive so how are you supposed to get the 'automatic update'?

btw
Anyone who had to paid for support during the past year is supposed to get a refund check in the mail. Just heard it on the Xbox support line. |

Xbox Live went down yesterday for quite a bit of time. Don't know if it came back up or not

not sure if this is possible..but i think so.
Go to xbox.com and burn the update onto a disc and later upload it on the xbox. By the way, Xbox Live came back up last night. |

| Just got the xbox360 a day ago, it works great but i had 1 problem the mic doesnt seem to work i could hear the other person but for some reason they cant hear me, can anyone help out. |

I've had 2 already!!! the 1st I got right after Thanksgiving and it kept freezing so I returned it, the one I have now does the same thing.... Its going back for a PS3!! I don't care what anyone says about how great XBOXLIVE is! What annoyes me is that I have 3 opened games that I'm sure they won;t take back! MS sucks!! Just like their Windows OS that crashes all the time! :roll: The 360 on paper is a great machine and LIVE is great but it feels rushed, like they wanted to rush it out before PS3. I'm very annoyed and disapointed ! |

FIXED MINE
Right after I posted here, LG must be good luck.
After I spoke with support and they told me it was defective, I turned it on with the hard drive attached and disc tray open. Worked.
Now it works no matter what.
Now I have to lure this berserker outside...
