We do, but we should have been able to beat the Nets without them. |

He should come back to his starting job after Hart’s horrible stretch. |

I hope when he comes back he will play the way he's most comfortable because at least we were winning (bleep) games and not going 1-3 on a 4 game road trip with 3 sub .500 teams

Ingram is clearly underperforming but his ball handling, ability to get shots off from himself, slow the pace down, use his length on defense has a clear impact on the team. That doesn’t mean (bleep) the advanced stats and that Ingram is better then he actually is, but it goes deeper then your (bleep) Net rating being shoved down our throats after every 25 minutes. |
I got blasted for making this point a week ago. Sometimes easier to just sit back and watch what the team does once a player goes down for whatever reason. If this stretch didnt make you realize how much Ingram does beyond the stat sheet then I dont know what to say.
We need him and all our guys back in a hurry, we look like a mess. _________________ *Paging Mike "Doo Doo" Brown to the front desk*

Ingram is the cure to all our ills. Can't wait to get him back and all of his superpowers. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

So now ya'll appreciate Ingram
Suddenly "he doesn't score over 20 a game that often" doesn't matter _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I was going to dig up GT numbers/ratings post but it isnt worth it. The point of the story..... its not always black and white with the numbers kids. Cant wait to get back to what we were doing before which was winning games. _________________ *Paging Mike "Doo Doo" Brown to the front desk*

I’m waiting for these basketball heads to produce more of these type of stats, they’ve all seem to gone quiet...for this same reason they’re posting on LG like the rest of us and not actually working for an NBA front office. |

The Lakers were dealing with these issues with Brandon Ingram. I saw the same things against Orlando, Houston, and Toronto. Ingram will be just as bad defending against screens as the rest of the Lakers. |

I am just glad we did not trade him when 85% of LG were convinced that Hart was the superior player (you know who you are).....but hey, that was way back....like....3 days ago. |

I missed the narrative on the team being better without him, but I can say with certainty that Dudley is a candidate for the "Ingram special". |

Missing McGee is a bigger factor than missing BI tbh. We're not deep enough to withstand all these injuries.

Hart and Kuz are just red carpets to the rim and can’t defend off the ball either. |

I still think he gets beat with speed or strength too often. I see him get taken out of plays on defense, usually with screens. I think quicker guards don't need screens against him. He's an improvement over Kuzma and Hart, but not a complete solution. Like I said, I saw the same things in the Nets game that I did in past games where Ingram did play.
And, I think he does have a negative impact on offense. Him dominating the ball , going into ISO, and then shooting mid-range jumpers is just not a great option. And I think it takes the rest of the Lakers out of their games. |
