It's kind of scary how good he could be. Right now he has less than a year and a half NBA experience. I think he has the potential to be a #3 option on a contender. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Those aren't the best 5-man lineups. The first lineup's played 12 minutes together, and if we're using THAT low of a sample size then you omitted a Rondo-Lance-KCP-Hart-Zubac lineup that has a +31.2 Net Rating in 19 minutes together. You didn't include the Lonzo/Hart/LeBron/Kuzma/McGee lineup either.
Here are the 4 Lakers lineups that have played the most minutes together. There's a pretty clear conclusion to be drawn here.

Last week they weren’t saying that. The difference? Now he is making shots where he wasn’t before. He was hot last season and then fell off the cliff. Even if he does that this season, he is still giving a good effort on defense and the boards. |
He's scoring in a variety of ways because he's moving and being used when he gets in position. His production has increased because of being used as an option to shoot more floaters, runners, and inside moves too. He was also scoring well in the last game against Spurs, but Luke and/or LeBron didn't trust using him in the end.

Last 5 games:
25/8/3.4/38.5% from 3s on 7.8 attempts.
Those are All Star numbers my friend as good as he's playing there is still room for growth. |

I think the BI experiment has gone long enough. Bench him or trade him. BI iso ball in the starting lineup drags everyone down. Bench will get better with BI playmaking. Enough with the politics and just make the correct basketball decision already Magic. |

No, you're certainly not the only one, I'm sure others agree with you. |
It’s been a worry of mine since last year. His floor is higher because of his size but he’s been overrated over the offseason and we’ll soon find out just how overrated he was. Hopefully he hasn’t gone too Hollywood like Clarkson did cause he still has a lot of potential. |
|
Yes we were wrong. I acknowledged that a few pages back. |
I came across that when I was searching for the people saying Tatum is on his way to being a superstar and Kuzma won't be as good as him because 1) he wasn't projected to start, and 2) he's older. |

I think guys like Jimmy Butler and Kuz have that shoulder on their chip being late 1st round picks. Plus, Kuz didn't exactly grow up in Pleasantville honing his game in Flint, Michigan.
You can't teach the doggedness that guys like Jimmy and Kuz show. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Those are All Star numbers my friend as good as he's playing there is still room for growth. | It's not based on playing against scrubs or weak defense. He's going to do this against whoever. Of course, it doesn't hurt that LeBron draws the best defensive fwd when both are in the game.
It doesn't get talked about much, but he's going to get PAID if he keeps this up.

I agree.
I like how Broussard (I think it was him) was just about to start the conversation on - "...you know it got me thinking, should the Lakers even go for another max superstar..?" and the other folks on the panel immediately started rolling their eyes, "YES, come on now."
Pretty much my feelings. |

The Rondo-Lance-KCP-Hart-Zubac lineup clearly won’t be starting so no point including it but if you want to then they will clearly be our 3rd best starting lineup.
The pretty clear conclusion if you look at the lineups objectively is to bench McGee and Ball, they are the only net negative in the starting lineup, if we want to go by our best 5 players. |

Not sure why you’re confused our best lineup objectively speaking according to NetRtg and mins played is the lineup of:
C. Chandler
Pf. Kuzma
Sf. Lebron
Sg. Hart
Pg. Ingram
But it’s not that simple is it, I see why you are confused because it doesn’t agree with your narrative of BI bringing the team down and wanting him traded or coming off the bench |

Far from it, I omitted a lineup that clearly won’t be starting and goes against c’mon sense. No way a lineup of Rondo-Lance-KCP-Hart-Zubac start or keep up that NetRtg |

TC too old to play more minutes if you want him to be effective. BI is not even a good fit at 2 so forget 1. He can't guard PGs that are quick. His best position is 3. _________________ Showtime 2.0 |

Not on mins played.
Here’s the link: https://stats.nba.com/lineups/advanced/?Season=2018-19&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&TeamID=1610612747
Lineup you mentioned only played 12 total mins together. They are ranked 19th in that list. _________________ |

The Rondo-Lance-KCP-Hart-Zubac lineup clearly won’t be starting so no point including it but if you want to then they will clearly be our 3rd best starting lineup.

So you snubbed some line ups that didn't fit your agenda and tried to mislead. |
Far from it, I omitted a lineup that clearly won’t be starting and goes against c’mon sense. No way a lineup of Rondo-Lance-KCP-Hart-Zubac start or keep up that NetRtg |
What happened to ZO, Hart, Bron, Kuz, McGee line up? Had higher net rating than the 5th one you posted. _________________ Showtime 2.0 |

TC too old to play more minutes if you want him to be effective. BI is not even a good fit at 2 so forget 1. He can't guard PGs that are quick. His best position is 3. |
Those are your opinions, not facts. TC too old but he is leading our team in NetRtg = fact. BI had his best stretch of his career last season playing PG = fact. So don’t pass your opinion as some kind of knowledge because it isn’t according to the stats provided. |
