Maybe the best thing about Rondo's injury is that he was able to miss some games where the worst aspects of "regular-season Rondo" would have clearly shown up. A bored Rondo is an unhelpful Rondo. |

I like Rondo, but his return is not gonna help BI, neither is it going to help Zo.
Im doubtful its going to help the team |

Rondo consistently makes the entire bench unit better. Also if you've noticed, Lance's play has fallen off a cliff since Rondo left. He had a great night or two when Rondo was suspended, but without Rondo to control things he's out of control. |

@Mike_Bresnahan
Rajon Rondo (broken right hand) went through “pretty much” all of today’s practice, Luke Walton said.
He’s not quite cleared for full contact, and Walton said Rondo won’t play Wednesday vs. San Antonio. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Rondo injured his hand on November 14th. He was supposed to be out 4-5 weeks. It's been just under 3 weeks so far.
I'd be a little cautious still about bringing him back unless Rondo has unusual recuperative powers. |

Honestly, if BI can't play with Rondo, there's not much hope for him. He needs to learn to either cut and catch/shoot or outplay LeBron to have the ball in his hands. He needs to opt into being the finisher not the starter of a play. |

We are doing just fine without him. He can stay and be coach for the season. |

Rondo being back will be helpful, because some nights Ball just doesn't have it, and we really do need to have a second PG on the team. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

That and some nights the bench unit will come out and just play horrible. Rondo can guide them around the floor. |

It will be interesting to see how many minutes he will get when he returns. I think both Ingram and Kuzma are playing better because Rondo is out. He can’t play off ball players need to readjust again once he is back |

Rondo should play almost all of his minutes with the bench to try to hold the fort when Lebron needs a breather. The offense often falls apart when our subs are out there without Bron. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

@LakersReporter
Walton said Rajon Rondo still has swelling in his hand, so he won’t play until that goes down. Original timeline from Nov. 15 was 4-5 weeks, and it’s Dec. 8 _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Cant wait for him to come back. At the moment he is more important than Ingram. |
