It's crazy he's putting up his stats off the bench. Imagine if he'd been on the team coming off the bench and putting up 18/9.
I really thought the team would have liked to pair LBJ/Jules as a wrecking ball crew. IMO, if we kept Brook (spacing purposes), then Jules/LBJ as forwards would have been perfectly fine.
When we went with Javale, who is balling, then spacing issues were legit. But even so, Jules is showing tremendous production off the bench.
But Randle couldn't give us what Javale does on the defensive end. He's been a force blocking shots.
Randle was a victim of business politics. There's no other explanation to let someone like him walk for nothing. My guess is that he will be the last player to ever play for the Lakers who's represented by Mintz.

Lost in the discussion is the fact that Mintz was the one who corroborated the tampering charges vs. Magic and Pelinka when league investigators came a calling. The league had him cornered in a way because they could have banned him as an agent. But I kind of agree with the above statement.

Apparently, this Julius guy is a Power Forward who can score down low, run the break and rebound. He seems to play with an intensity and provide a low post presence that we could use.
I know we already tied up $12,000,000 this year on the incredible KCP, but it makes me wonder if we could have given this Julius Randle guy a look. The Pelicans got him for less ($9 million for a year) than KCP.

Julius didn't want to be back here, because our stupid coach decided to play LNJ. Also LeBron vs Randle. You couldn't have both. _________________ The most important shot in basketball.

Christ... here we go again with the regrets. All his metrics, and his team still lost.

No D was played. Julius didn't score in crunch time. Pels lost. And there's no way he would get the opportunities with this team that he's getting there.

Lakers are going after another Power Forward/Center named Anthony Davis. And even if they don't get Davis, Randle will be too expensive to get in the future for a team chasing 2 superstars.
Trade out the timid projects for guys who actually bring it with intensity and consistency every night.
Enough dealing with these millennial's mindsets and moods. Some of these dudes spent last year playing video games in their off-time instead of watching film and working on their skills. It's not junior high.
