Jonathan Williams really needs to develop his offensive game. It is raw with poor mechanics. His points are basically dump offs in the paint, loose balls and offensive rebounds.
Jemerrio Jones is a nice player. Besides being prolific in grabbing rebounds he can handle the ball and is a good passer and defender. His shot mechanics look okay but he really needs to develop his outside shot.
Besides Bonga and Caruso he looks to have the best opportunity to eventually be an NBA player.
It is nice to have Travis Wear on South Bay. He just makes the correct plays and is nice insurance in the event he is needed by the Lakers.
On a side note Jevon Carter who was discussed in the draft thread looked very average. Could not do much in the paint and had little impact on the game.
The South Bay Lakers won a tough game against the Memphis Hustle, 96-94 (box score), on Saturday night.
Johnathan Williams tallied his sixth double-double of the season for the Lakers (5-7) with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Markel Crawford led Memphis (5-5) with 23 points.
FINAL: South Bay Lakers - 107 . Windy City Bulls - 101
Sounds like Bonga had a quiet game.
Watched a couple of quarters.
He was kind of passive today. Driving lanes just weren't there. They tried to work the ball down low quite a bit which resulted in a number of TO's on the entry pass.
The South Bay Lakers won their fourth straight game as they beat the Windy City Bulls, 107-101 (box score), on Monday night.
Alex Caruso put together his finest performance of the season for South Bay (6-7) finishing with 28 points, six rebounds, seven assists and three steals. Rawle Alkins led the Bulls (5-10) with 22 points.
The South Bay Lakers have acquired Justin Harper as a returning player, it was announced today by General Manager Nick Mazzella. Harper returns to South Bay after appearing in 45 games with the team during the 2016-17 season.

The three-year NBA veteran has appeared in 22 career NBA games with the Orlando Magic, Pistons and 76ers.
Harper most recently played for ASVEL Basket in France, where he averaged 8.9 points and 3.1 rebounds while shooting 54.5 percent from the field.
