I'm thankful that we beat the Celtics to win the world championship in 2010, and especially that we did it in Game 7 in pure Hollywood fashion. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

For the first 30 years of my life, the Lakers made the finals on average every other year. Tough to complain. |

Thankful for that mid 90โs Laker Squad for sparking my love of the game!
Nick โThe Quickโ... โSeven Stealsโ Eddie..... Ballinโ Ceballos...... big Elden Campbell. Shoot, even Shaun Rooks!
Wish I had been born earlier to have experienced Showtime, but I know my Purple and Gold history and hold those teams in high esteem
Growing up in LA and living through the 3-Peat was the pinnacle of fandom.
But most thankful for the Kobe/Pau era, in the end.
Those teams are dearest to my heart.

Luke Walton, a really good coach who is seriously underappreciated around here. |

I'm thankful for the club's decades-long history of success while I've been a fan. We had Jerry West, Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant as career Lakers. We had the most exciting young forward I ever saw (Elgin Baylor) and the most imposing centers of their time in the game (Mikan, Chamberlain, Abdul-Jabbar and O'Neal.) We currently have an all-time great league star reversing the club's five year slide almost entirely on his own, withing twenty games of being here.
We should feel fortunate. I have been, and I am. _________________ โThese GOAT discussions are fun distractions while sitting around waiting for the pizza to be served.โ

Thanks to Magic, Byron, Big Game, Green, Cap (+ Cooper and Rambis as 6th, 7th men). That team of '87 made me a Laker. _________________ .... |
