Remember q1 and q2 2018 moviepass at $7.95/mo? Mannnn was that ballin' or what?
>averaged 3-4 movies/week at some points
>to break up a long, weary drive, you could use moviepass to check in to some throwaway like "Love, Simon" to nap in a reclining seat in an empty theater
>the moviepass somehow allowed you to check in to the more expensive IMAX, Dolby Atmos, 3d, etc. special screenings
>you could check in to movies and then sell your tickets in front of the box office for $1 off regular price
>for a while the moviepass also paid for concessions even after it paid for your movie ticket _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."

One IMAX or Dolby movie out here covers the monthly fee. |

Without any strings attached. It's still a more than fair price and it gives you an uncompromised experience. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

$20/month.
You can see up to 3 movies a week, repeat viewings if you want, reserve seats online, no blackouts, imax/Dolby all fair game, shorter line at concessions, plus a couple other little perks. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

The only blackouts are the fathom events. Those are pretty rare though. |

I think it's only when they do special showings of older movies. Like when Avengers came out they played all the old marvel movies, Godfather anniversary, etc.
Also, the minimum 3 month commitment is worth noting. So if you cancel before 3 payments you get charged a fee equal to the remainder.

fathom's pretty cool...they also project live events like UFC/boxing fights, operas, plays, etc. _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."

Family plan would be nice. My wife and I each have A-List and have to coordinate seats before we reserve separately. Would be nice if I could just book us both. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

Hell yeah!! I think A-list plan is fantastic and a family version of it can’t be beat for couples that like going to the movies |

That’s common practice for them. When I was a member I payed through PayPal and made sure to unlink it from my PayPal account so they couldn’t do it to me. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

I still had moviepass as of 3 weeks ago. It got so bad that after 11am or so on a given day, it would give us the "no showtimes available" so I asked for a refund of all charges since June (when they started having problems)...ended up with a refund for the entire year for both passes. It was great when it was up and running. _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."

Agreed Huey. I loved it until all the new restrictions came out. For all the problems at least they can say they revolutionized the industry. Monthly theater subscriptions are here to stay
Glad you got your money back too! |

I don't know if it's necessarily a good thing what they did for the industry. It really was fun to have an all you can eat and watch theater buffet for $8/month though. Ah, well. _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."
