Since this whole BI vs Kuz debate is happening, how about I offer another one. Lance has been playing exceptionally well as the official backup PG for the Lakers, the bench unit looks really solid with him dictating the offense.
Who should be our officlal backup PG when Rondo returns from suspension?
This is a very silly question. Lance is not going to play the way he did the last two games long-term. And Luke has limited his time as the primary decision maker on the floor because he shouldn't be the head of the snake for a lineup if he doesn't have to be. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. Well I can see why both side would fight about who should start between BI and Ingram, are there really people who think Lance is a better PG than Rondo ?

This logic isnt applied in the Kuzma vs Ingram debate, why is it arbitally being applied during this one.

why isn't Lonzo included? Of course I agree that Lonzo should start like most on LG....but it still seems to be somewhat of an open question with the Lakers, right?
Rondo is clearly a better at running an offense than Lance. Lance has his moments, and should be given credit when he does, but Lance is not in any way a long term solution as a backup PG in my opinion.
Lance has been primary ball handler in 2nd unit but I wouldn't necessarily say he was playing with the spirit of a pg because hes been pretty much going 1v1 and creating instant offense. He can do that alongside rondo still.
Next season, I doubt either will be on the team again. Hopefully Bonga or someone fron the draft.
Lakers could've drafted that Monte Morris kid who torched them the other night instead of Thomas Bryant.
I was really big on Monte in the draft.....liked him more than Jawun Evans. Morris will probably have a long NBA career as a reserve PG.
I liked Evans more given the production by age (boy was I wrong), but size at guard is so important unless a guy is absolutely dominant offensively like Trae Young.
I think Denver may be better off closing games with Morris running things with Murray and Harris in a 3-guard lineup. Morris is clearly their second best playmaker. _________________ Under New Management

Rondo has one of the highest basketball IQs in the league. Definitely him. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
