Tix are $15 to see 2 games tomorrow night at Pauley on UCLA's campus. Should be fun to see Kevin's ridiculous game. _________________ M-V-P |

UCLA already has commitments from 2 point guards in the 2008 class - Jerime Anderson (#37 prospect) and PG/SG 6'4 Malcolm Lee (#33 prospect) according to Scout.com
UCLA is hot for the top SG prospect in the country, Jrue Holiday, and one of hte best PFs in Luke Babbitt.
And in the 2009 class, UCLA leads for the Wear twins out of Mater Dei, and super sensation Renardo Sidney who may not make it to Westwood because of his already shaky shoe deals. But Howland is building a monster that's going to be here for a long time. _________________ M-V-P |

That school has been cheating the rules since at least the mid-80s. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Watched Love up here in Portland and honestly would be surprised if he becomes a real player. He was always slow and unathletic to me? Though time will tell.
Go Lakers |

The Lakers seem to land a fair number of UCLA graduates. Jordan Farmar is another in a long line. KAJ, Goodrich, and Wilkes were all Lakers stars, who saw NCAA tournament action at UCLA. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Tell me about it. I remember watching all of the players' parents rolling up in matching brand-new Caddies before our games vs them as a freshman.
Made beating them all the sweeter. |

When you think of the ultimate in recruiting, I recall a recent interview of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He said when he was a freshman, the freshman team beat the varsity. The varsity happened to be the National Champions. UCLA must have had quite a freshman class. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Quite a rivalry the locals have going...
OJ Mayo is probably be the better pro but KLove figures to help the Bruins for 2-3 years while Mayo will bolt after 1 year.
Too bad UCLA lost some guard to Duke though because they'll need a good replacement for Afflalo next season. _________________ "Now we're so happy we do the dance of joy." |

They didn't just beat them, they stomped them by 30. |
