Looking forward to this.
I thought Thursday's game was pretty entertaining, despite the loss.
Hopefully, the bench doesn't get blown out.
If we can have a steady bench at home, that will help immensely.
Over time, they will get better on the road.
Harden plans to go off tonight, I'm sure. |

I hope that Hart is starting. Hopefully we'll see less of Lance and more of Kuz/Hart. |

Houston's bench is very good. Led by Melo, E. Gordon, MC Williams, G. Green, G. Clark and Hartenstein, their reserves are arguably one of the best benches in the league.
It's going to be a tall task but unlike recent seasons, we now have the talent to beat any team on any given day. |

Is Hart really expected to start though? I thought Luke said it's a lil too early to think about lineup changes _________________ “Life is too short. You have to keep it moving.” - Kobe |

Rockets aren’t the same regular season team from last year, they are still adjusting to the lose of Luc Mbah and Ariza, we should be able to win this game especially with it being LeBron’s home debut.. the team should be fired up for tonight’s game. |

I would like to see the lineup of Hart, Ingram, LeBron, Kuzma, McGee out there more often. |

Not that hard Luke. |
If they put Kuzma and Hart with Lonzo, they give him players he's comfortable with and with whom he's more likely to succeed.
If they put Lonzo with all the bone head players... he will have more difficulty.
I interpret leaving Hart in the second unit, a solid for Lonzo... not a demotion for Hart. Everyone can see Hart deserves the starting position, but I think they give Lonzo more help this way.
Lonzo with Beasley/Lance/KCP/Kuzma... seems a waste of Zo's playmaking abilities and basketball IQ. |

Lonzo should also start too, especially with all that in mind. He’s the best rebounding guard on the team as well.
It would also be better for the bench because we got a more experienced vet leading the 2nd unit with Rondo.
Zo/Hart/Ingram/Lebron/McGee
Rondo/KCP/Lance/Kuzma/Zu
Rondo can make playing with Lance work because Rondo would (bleep) him up if Lance tried to pull the same iso crap he did last game. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

I'd like to see Lonzo/Hart/Svi/Kuzma/Mo as the second unit.
That's some shooting and IQ that Zo can work with.
I think LeBron will pick the point guard he prefers in his lineup. |

I predict a win with Kuzma going for 40.

I'd be perfectly happy with a 1-1 start considering our first two opponents. _________________ one dog goes that way the other dog goes the other way |

If we win today, we would go back to wondering how Nik Statukas was the reason we lost the game when we should have been 2-0 |

Unlike playing in Portland, THIS is a game I think the Lakers are capable of winning. I'm sure Houston is favored, yes they are a better team than Portland, and it doesn't help that Houston lost it's first game, but this is the first home game for the Lakers, we've got a better player than Harden, and I suspect we're going to shred Houston's defense from all over the court.
It's rather amazing how effective the Lakers were in that Portland game at dunking the ball repeatedly all night long. I expect the same pace tonight, we're going to wear Houston down, and I don't think the Lakers are going to repeat the zero-for-15 start from beyond the arc this time. When LeBron goes 0 for 4 from the 3 point line, you know it's not your night. I don't think that'll happen often.
Also, Houston has Carmelo. That means no help defense. Lonzo, Rondo, and LeBron are all good at setting the table, players are going to feast.
Lakers 132
Houston 124 |

Perimeter defense will be key. We have to do a better job of defending behind the arc. The Pringles-led Rockets live and die by the trey. |
