We have 12 listed now....and no, I do not think that is the random draft order....appears to have the guys that played last season, then us newbies at the bottom. |

League says there's 13 team slots so that may be why. Think the commish has to change it back to 12 max. |

myself and Gentleman Jack share the #6 & #7 slots throughout the draft....I find the middle the toughest to build a strategy around. |

No worries!
Remember it snakes, so Round 2 is the opposite of the above, etc.
A 12 team league is very challenging. At Pick 2, I don't pick again until picks 23 and 26! _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Almost that time, boys.
I'm home (didn't end up going to Vegas) however I AM drinking... so if I make some questionable picks.. blame it on the booze.
That being said... I've done a couple of mock drafts and wow.. the drop off in overall roster talent with a 12 team league vs a 10 team league is pretty substantial. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

I’m looking for a WR. Besides that I feel pretty decent. Wouldn’t mind another TE too. |

Yahoo rated my draft an A-, I felt like it was pretty good. Having the 2nd pick was an advantage for sure.
LakerLanny Draft Report Card
Led by a Pair of Rams, LakerLanny Will Make Opponents Regret Playing Fantasy Football
Recap
Draft Results
A- Grade
Drake may have complained about ‘Trust Issues’ but LakerLanny should never have to. After a great draft, this is a team poised to win it all.

Draft Summary
Blessed with a juicy draft position (No. 2 overall), LakerLanny had an excellent performance. After picking up multiple Rams in the early rounds (Todd Gurley II and Robert Woods), LakerLanny are projected to finish 1st in LG Fantasy Football with a record of 10-3 (1,978 points).
Rashaad Penny
Biggest Steal
LakerLanny scored a great mid-round value with the selection of Penny at No. 98, about 14 slots later than his ADP of 84. Penny is projected to score 181 fantasy points with the Seahawks, making him a valuable No. 4 RB for this squad.
Chris Hogan
Reach Pick
It seems everyone thinks they're a fantasy expert nowadays, so there's no telling who led you to choose Hogan in the 4th round, about two rounds earlier than his ADP of 73. Then again, perhaps you're onto something. Projected to score 195 fantasy points this season with the Patriots, he appears set to beat last year when he racked up 34 receptions for 439 yards and 5 TDs over 9 games to post 110 fantasy points. Hogan will slot in as the No. 3 WR for LakerLanny, according to projections.
Draft Notes
LakerLanny face a tough task in Week 11 when they have four players on a bye (Jarvis Landry, Sony Michel, Chris Hogan, and Baker Mayfield). On the bright side, your Week 11 opponent -- KoBe's Team -- will also be tackling their worst bye week with five players on the sideline.
LakerLanny have drawn one of the least challenging schedules in LG Fantasy Football this season based on projected records with a strength of schedule ranked as the 2nd easiest.
LakerLanny seem to be balancing both youth and experience, assembling a roster with an average of 5.3 years of NFL experience, ranking in the middle of the pack for the league. They selected three rookies (Sony Michel, Rashaad Penny, and Baker Mayfield), the highest total of first-year players in the league. In total, there were 12 rookies selected over the course of the LG Fantasy Football draft.
Even with an unfilled slot at QB in the 6th round, LakerLanny drafted WR Robert Woods with the 71st pick, filling the WR/RB/TE flex position instead of a more important position. They were the third-to-last squad to fill a flex position.

Not too worried about my "C" grade.
They suggested I picked a TE or QB with my 5th pick instead of Demaryius Thomas.
Then said I "might have gotten a little too excited when making the decision to draft Tarik Cohen--- Based on projections, Cohen will slot in as the No. 2 RB."
What? He's like 4th on my RB depth chart _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

Yahoo draft grading system is awful. In part, because their default ranking is laughable.
It also punishes you for reaching, which, you sometimes have to do. For instance, Hogan in the late 4th is a great pick. |

really surprised by my draft grade.....after the draft, I was looking at my team and realized I went with a little too much heart, and not enough brain. It does not take a genius to recognize I love college football and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
-- A lot of really young guys and 4 Buc's! - Mike Evans, OJ Howard, Ronald Jones and Chris Godwin
-- Out of my 4 RB's, they have played a total of 1 NFL Season! - Saquon Barkley (0), Joe Mixon (1), Kerryon Johnson (0), and Ronald Jones (0).
-- Out of my 3 QB's, they have a total of 14 career starts! - Deshaun Watson (6), Jimmy Garoppolo (7) and Patrick Mahomes (1).
Could be set up good for future years if it was a keeper league. |

I still can't believe I drafted this team while I walked around a concert in Dallas...that was not the plan originally, but oh well.
Regardless, I'm ready to get this season started! |
