If Evans really is as good as he was this season, signing him would be yuge. His 3% shooting has really improved the last couple years.
I haven't seen him play much lately, so can anyone who knows his game better than I do chime in on how good he is defensively? _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers
There is only so many players you can play. Tyreke is way better than Lance. Not sure how much you play Lance anyways, but Tyreke would quickly move whatever that number is to 0.
Tyreke Evans would have made a lot more sense than Rondo. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though."
His two best seasons in the NBA ever were at that position, and his career only started it's downward spiral once the Kings stopped playing him at that position.
So yeah Tyreke is a point guard, and it's his best and most efficient position. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Sans LeBron another signing blunder, losing Julius for nada and choosing malcontent Rondo instead of Tyreke all on the same day our division rivals finalized completing an All-star roster.
Chances of Tyreke joining increased with Jules being released.
No, we spent 9m on Rondo. We lost our advantage of paying more than MLE for Evans.
Stretch Deng and overpay him what you want (up to $15.6m). Personally, I think a starting center is of greater importance.
Uh if that’s an option, we wouldn’t let Randle walk which will also solve your problem. Have I remembered the wrong person? Didnt you say you want McGee to start?

Hey, it could be worse. At least no one is saying
"What if we just signed Julius to the 4 year, Stretched Luol Deng.. and signed Demarcus Cousins with the leftover for that 5.3M one year deal"
DeMarcus probably thinks taking less money and not winning a championship would be disastrous to his perceived value, even if he plays decently he could find himself a defensive scapegoat for the playoff defeat. His presence would not help us beat Golden State per se, but he is admittedly a matchup problem for us even if he plays only 15 minutes. We can't attack him the way Houston can.
And, him joining the Dubs is a chance to say "FU" to the league that lowballed him, in his eyes.
The good news is, unlike Cousins, Tyreke reportedly wants a chance to score more than 10ppg and that may not be on Golden State.
