Anyone else check it out yet?
I dug the pilot, not sure if the story and premise will sustain a series, but anything with Stephen Root in it is going to hold my attention. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Watched it last night. I'm optimistic. Bill Hader. Stephen Root. The Fonz. What's not to like? _________________ Not a legend |

Watched the opening episode. Hader (Barry) displayed a personality that could be comedic and violent. Gotta love The Fonz. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

It's unique and I'm curious where they're going to go with it. I thought it was really funny at parts, it made me laugh out loud.
Silicon Valley is back too and man, they love to beat a deadhorse. It's the same lovable loser thing every season. |

I dug it. I'm shocked that Bill Hader is able to pull off that role but he was pretty good.
Agreed with Silicon Valley. They're still going into the same well but it was still entertaining. _________________ KOBE |

Hader is remarkably versatile. There's a horrible movie by Amy Schumer called "Trainwreck", and while it is exactly that, he is outstanding. _________________ “We must always take sides. Amy Schumer is kinda like a female Dane Cook. Soon she'll be a distant memory. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Schumer is OK in a very narrow lane, which does not include stand up or anything other than the character she played in that film _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Episode 2 anyone?
That scene in the Chechnian's garage was fun. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

I was cracking up during that scene. I'm really enjoying this show, hopefully they can keep it from getting stale. |

Paula Newsome plays Det Moss to a T. The scene that showed Fuches getting beat down somehow conjured The Naked Gun and The Pink Panther. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Great mixture of drama and comedy with a little suspense thrown in. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Just started watching it, and I know it probably could use a new thread, but if you like this show, or even if you don't, check out "Jean Claude Van Johnson" on Amazon Prime. Jean Claude Van Damm is playing himself and he is also an assassin. Lots of ridiculous scenes and call backs to his older movies |

Yeah, definitely just one of the highlights so far. Root is just fantastic and Winkler as well.
This last episode was great. Loved the stuff with the arrival of the greatest Chechnian Hitman. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Mine too. He's hilarious. Such a contradiction to playing the Penguin's enforcer Victor Zsasz on Gotham. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

The look on Barry's (Bill Hader) face when he's killing is classic. He does't have a grimacing look, it's so stoic, unemotional. I'm on board with NoHo Hank. I love his facial expressions and accent. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I was glad to see this episode move back to a more Barry-centric mode. I liked the pervious episode and I love the work of Winkler et al, but last week I felt a like there was too much time spent with the other characters outside the main story line. I get why they are doing that and it's not that it's great stuff. It's just the episodes work better for me when that stuff is sprinkled in rather than being the bulk of an episode. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Did Fuches say hot tub?
Taylor cracked me up.....and obviously NoHo Hank's character is pure comedic genius. |
