A excerpt from this article may shed some light on why.

Quote: | Playing with LeBron James isn’t always easy. Every season that doesn’t end in a championship is considered a failure. James demands excellence from his teammates and can be hard on them if they aren’t acting or playing up to his standard. There was a game against the Jazz early in the 2015-16 season when Irving finished with 34 points but zero assists in a Cleveland loss. After the game, James gave Irving a lecture that those numbers were unacceptable:
After the game, James wasn't thinking about the loss or about that last defensive breakdown. He was miffed that Irving scored all those points without registering a single assist.
"He came up to me and was like, 'One, you can never have another game with no assists,' " Irving said, describing James' words. " 'You can damn near have just one, two, three, but you can't have zero.' And I was like, 'All right, cool, it won't happen again.' And it hasn't happened since that game." |

Exactly he's a demanding diva.
I mean I get it considering the pressure he deals with on a regular basis but I get why it would be grating on others who don't live up to that. |

Quote: | NBA’s Warriors to replace Red Panda’s stolen $25k unicycle
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) – The NBA’s Golden State Warriors will buy the popular half-time entertainer known as the Red Panda Acrobat a custom-made, $25,000 unicycle to replace the one stolen from San Francisco’s airport.
KTVU-TV reports Friday that the team notified Rong Niu’s agent of its plan to replace the 7-foot unicycle the acrobat uses in her routine where she flips bowls from her feet and catches them stacked on her head at halftime shows across the country. Agent Pat Figley says the unicycle will be built in China.
Police released Jan. 24 surveillance photos from San Francisco International Airport’s baggage claim area showing a man wheeling away black bags containing the unicycle. Niu has had the unicycle for 30 years.
She is a regular performer for the Warriors and around the NBA, and she’s the one halftime act NBA Twitter loves and gets excited when she’s performing. She’s also appeared on America’s Got Talent. |

I don't mind if the Lakers strike out on Lebron this summer....whomever is signing Lebron now is getting him for the final years of his career. As we have seen teams don't need Lebron anymore to win a championship. |

That was an impressive second half meltdown by the Cavs. It’s really looking like Lebron’s remarkable run of straight finals’ appearances is finally going to end unless something really changes soon. |

Was just looking at the cavs players stats....what the hell happened to Jae Crowder? He’s fallen off a cliff. I thought he was a great pickup at the time, but man...his numbers are horrid this season. |

Wouldn't it be wild if the NBA Finals featured two entirely different teams.
Celtics/Thunder perhaps?
But I don't trust Donovan to be smart enough to realize his Big 3 is Westbrook/PG13/Steven Adams.
Melo need not apply. |

Unless an injury bug strikes the Warriors I don't see it happening. |

Looking back on it, I’m amazed that Lebron didn’t make the finals in his last 2 years before The Decision. I can’t believe his team lost to a team led by Dwight Howard. |

Houston has dealt with injury issues and still has looked much better than the Thunder. |

Thibodeau is such a dumb coach, and so are their players, KAT with no touches in OT....culture of losing city and franchise. _________________ "I got a hand that'll rock ya cradle, cream ya like cheese, spread ya on my bagel." - Shaq, 1992. |

Capella would have had a 30/30 game but D'Antoni sat him down early. _________________ -Avenue of the Champions- -RIP Dr Buss- #824 |

I’m not spending time in my life watching two of my three least favorite teams play each other but I hope Porn Star and Gary Lance are doing well in their debut. |

You're really missing out. The Celtics scheduled Paul Pierce's jersey retirement for after the game instead of at halftime because they were so confident that the Celtics would win. Meanwhile it's a 30 point Cavs blowout and all the Celtics fans are forced to sit around and watch their team get tortured so they can see the jersey retirement after the game.
Every time the cameras pan to the crowd it's full of stone-faced Celtics fans who are clearly not enjoying themselves. |

I saw a couple of pictures on Twitter of him sitting next to Rondo and Doc, all of them looking dejected. And someone else on Twitter when they were talking about the tribute said “of course it’s not a star-studded as Kobe’s retirement...”

Yep, Paul Pierce was not happy about LBJ and the Cavs ruining his jersey ceremony. |
