What's amazing about Lonzo is that he has a poor game by his standards yet has 11 assists, 6 rebounds and shoots 50%. Our point guards in the past almost never got 11 dimes on their good games. Lopez hurt us the most, we needed Kuzma's scoring and a lot of bonehead plays all around. I blame Luke more than anyone else for not making adjustments on the bigs. Though perhaps this was because Bogut is too hurt to play right now.

You guys can talk mess and blame this game on Lonzo, but dude had a lot of nice moments tonight. |
KCP gets paid too much to be playing alright games all the time |

I had assumed he was injured....he came in the game? |
yea they subbed him in with 1:15 left in the game |
honestly not a fan of what they are doing...Hill did not get heavy minutes tonight...but usually play him and Randolph alot....and even Carter when healthy....they need to be developing that young talent more in my opinion....they have some talent...need to find out how fast they can develop |

Not that he would have hit the FT's but Lonzo should have been at the line 4 to 5 more times tonight but refs swallowed the whistle. |

Luke has to go if you ask me. There's no excuse as to why he can't get these guys to come out play against some of the worst teams in the league.
I don't wanna hear excuses about back to back. Sacramento is not far from home these guys are professional basketball players that cant even hit freethrows. The easist shot in the game. Luke almost blew it against the Bulls taking Kuzma out too damn early when he was on fire and his lineups/decision making have been terrible all season so far. This guy is not a coach he needs to go. |

Lonzo wasnt close to the problem as this season pans out and JC slides back to his normal averages Lonzo's value on the floor will be evident Its already obvious that as soon as LUke takes him out of the game the offense goes stagnant we start playing Hero Ball, Luke puts him back in, the ball starts moving and players get better shots tonight those shots just didnt fall. But I tell you what the league better hope Lonzo doesnt find his shot, because as a rebounder passer and defender hes already ahead of schedule no matter what the haters say. |

I feel like we partially lost this game by the missed FTs and missing at least 3 easy fast-break opportunities. Big momentum changers. |

Fox isnt better than Ball. Stop it. Fox is pretty much relegated to the bench most of the game and as soon as the Lakers take Lonzo out the Ball stops moving and we go into 1 on 1 more, Lonzo just does more and has more impact than Fox does ive watched mostly all of Fox's games this year, he doesnt impact the game. His plus minus was -9 when his team won the game by double digits. |
Stop it? Your entire post is silly....I didn't say anything about anyone being better there Lonzo fan....don't be so thin skinned about Ball. I have no idea who will be the better player....they both have paths to many outcomes. Tonight....they were both pretty average.

I was at this game. Everyone in Sacramento agrees with this. No one in this city besides the front office have any desire to see those older guys play. People here were pretty pissed that he only gave Fox 23 minutes in this match up yet kept George Hill in the game who I'm pretty sure didn't even score. But stuff like this is what I've come to expect from that team. |

Horrible scheduling luck - You want to play a great team, that you'd lose to anyway, on the 2nd of a back to back...Not a bad team. |

Strange game, frustrating loss
Lonzo statistically did well.
Lakers actually shot well from 3 nailing 15 of 29...5 more than the kings
Lakers shot 50% (shocking right?)
But were schooled in this one...big difference: outrebounded by 12 and the queen...I mean kings shot 55% which is ridiculous and way more than what we typically give up
Basically this was a game like last year...fine scoring game but porous defense- the result is a loss
Hopefully they can find a way to couple good shooting with good d
Oh and Luke: when our sluggishly slow center is getting schooled let's try something else (hey nerlen noels has a 1 year deal too...just a thought). |

If byron had this team both Kuzma and Ball would be on the bench, Deng would be getting heavy minutes...our defense would be terrible...and ennis would probably be the head of the snake. As bad as you think Luke is, at least the guys are motivated and playing D and he's giving the young guys a chance and not crushing their spirit.
If he were to be fired tomorrow, who replaces him? Some retread? Luke may not be an amazing coach, but his talent is about on par with our on the court talent right now. He's fine. |

We need to trade for Cousins. I'd let go of anyone other than Ingram Kuzma and Ball to get him. This could potentially make us a playoff team this year and it would make George more likely to sign next offseason.
I know some ppl say just wait and let the young core grow.. but that ain't how the Lakers operate. We don't wait we go after talent to win. Plus Kuzma and Ingram alone won't be enough to get us any titles even if they become stars in the next 2 yrs. This is the super team era we're in. |

We have to play better in the early going and not fall so far behind. We were notoriously bad in the first quarter. No excuse. |
